Ministry's Problem Child

Chapter 5

The Ministry is uneasy since Cedric died and with Harry saying Voldemort is back. Minister Fudge is making it so Harry looks like a liar, even using the Daily Prophet to help. I'm walking with Oat, helping out as much as I can around the Ministry. Harry has gotten in trouble, using magic in front of a muggle. Apparently, there were dementors that attacked Harry and his cousin. I feel my vision start peeking in on Harry, so I make my way to my room. I sit on my bed and I focus in on him. I see him with the Weasley's, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Alastor Moody, and several others. I listen in on them, watching as Harry finds out what's going on. Mrs. Weasley tries to stop Sirius from telling too much.

"No. That's enough. He's just a boy. You say much more and you might as well induct him into the Order"

Harry interrupts her "Good. I want to join. If Voldemort's raising an army, then I want to fight"

I apparate behind Harry and Mrs. Weasley "I'm afraid he's got a point, Mrs. Weasley"

Everyone looks at me shocked, a few people pulling out their wands. Harry smiles "Lily. What are you doing here?"

I smile "My vision let me check in on you, so I heard some of the conversations. But you have a point. It's safer for you to join the Order. I want to join as well if you don't mind"

Sirius smiles "Wonderful"

Mrs. Weasley glares at Sirius then looks at me "Are you sure, dear? You're both still children"

I smile softly "It's alright, Mrs. Weasley. I can take care of myself as well as protect others"

She looks unsure and sighs "Oh, alright. But I don't want to be hearing any more of you getting near fatal wounds, young lady. Am I clear?"

I nod "I will try my best, but I can't make any promises, Ma'am"

She nods and gives me a hug, which I return.

A woman with magenta hair, Tonks, looks at me with curiosity "So, I know your basic information that the ministry has, but I'm curious about your time at Hogwarts and the things that wouldn't be in the paperwork. Would it be alright if I know more?"

I smile and nod "Sure. What do you want to know?"

"So, I know you got hurt and ended up in the hospital wing every single year so far. They didn't put how you got injured though"

I shrug "Well, some of my scars, like the one across my face, are from creatures I took care of with my mother. But First year and second year, I received broken bones from Voldemort. First year my spine was broken along with some ribs, my spine and I think my hip on one side, while Second year I just broke my ribs. Third year, though, I pushed Draco Malfoy out of the way of Buckbeak attacking him, which resulted in me getting these slashes over my eye. Then, at the end of the year, I protected Harry, Hermione, Ron and Professor Snape from a werewolf Professor Lupin" I see Lupin look away, guilt in his eyes. I smile softly "I don't blame you, Mr. Lupin. It was out of your control. I'm fine, anyhow" I look back at Tonks "After that, I went with Harry to find Sirius at this pond. When the Dementors came, they drained me of my happiness, just like they did with Harry and Sirius, but one froze my throat and almost performed the kiss on me but failed. The next injury I received was when Voldemort multiplied Wormtail's knife as it was being thrown at me, so I was stabbed about a dozen times or so, while also being hit with the killing curse twice. And, that's it so far. Any other questions?"

Everyone is now staring at me, wide eyed with shock and worry.

Ginny is the one to speak first "Do you turn into a werewolf now?"

I shake my head "Nope. Lycanthropy has no effect on me. If anything, I think my blood would help with it"

Lupin looks at me confused "What do you mean?"
