I'm currently staying in my room when I get a pain in my head, making me gasp. I see Harry riding with Hagrid, but he's unconscious while Harry tries to steer. Them and the rest of the Order are surrounded by Death Eaters. Harry's owl, Hedwig, flies and attacks a Death Eater, but is killed and falls to the ground. I focus and Hedwig's body appears in my arms. I hold her close, sighing softly "Poor girl" I place my head on hers. I get an idea and I focus, a faint purple glow appears around Hedwig's heart, and she suddenly starts flapping her wings and sitting up. I smile and calm her down "It's alright Hedwig, I'll bring you back" I look at Oat "Oat, can you get Mr. Walker, please?"
He nods and flies off to find Mr. Walker. I keep Hedwig calm when Mr. Walker suddenly bursts through my door, looking rather frantic. He closes the door as Oat jumps up and sits next to Hedwig and me.
Mr. Walker stares at Hedwig, mouth agape "T-that's Harry Potter's owl"
I nod "Yes"
"Why is it here??"
"I saw Harry being attacked by Death Eaters. Hedwig sacrificed her life for Harry. When her body was falling, I brought it here. I had an idea and then I brought her back to life. Now, I need to get to Harry and make sure he and whoever he's with is ok"
He shakes his head "N-no, Lily. I can't do that. I can't let you go out there"
"Mr. Walker"
"It's dangerous out there. I know you're strong but you could get taken. I can only do so much"
"Mr.Walker"
"I don't want to risk losing you to You-Know-Who. He's seen your power before, who knows what he'll do to get you on his side or even just to use your power. I-"
"Dad!"
He freezes and looks at me, shocked at what I just called him. He whispers "Did you just call me...dad?"
I set Hedwig down and I go over to him and hug him. He hugs back tight as if I would disappear if he let go.
I look at him "I need to do this. I'll be back before school starts up again, but they need my help"
He sighs and hugs me once more "I love you, Lily. You may not be my biological child, but I see you as my daughter. I want you to promise to be as careful as you can, alright?"
I smile "Yes, dad. I promise I'll be as careful as I can. I love you too"
He lets go and smiles "Take Oat with you, yeah? It would make me feel better"
I nod and both animals fly into my arms. I focus and apparate to where Harry is.
I appear in front of the Burrow, landing on the ground and rolling a bit. I breathe heavily and I sit up. I look around and see Harry, Ron, Hermione, Remus, Tonks, Ginny, Shacklebolt, Mr. Weasly and Fred. I look around and smile "Hello everyone" I stand up and walk over a bit, but several people hold up their wands, making me stop.
