Meeting up

It was mid afternoon when Sollux peaked outside again, "Lookth clear kk."

I stand up and look outside, not that I didn't believe him, I just wanted to be sure. In the streets only a couple of this things could be seen, but im sure Sollux and I could take care of them.

I gripped my sickles and stood up, Sollux grabbed a napsack and swung it over his shoulder. He placed a finger over his lips and pointed down the stairs to the door where he had saved my sorry ass.

We crept down the stairs knowing how sensitive their hearing was. He places his ear on the door and slowly opened it. The door screeches open, but not another sound was heard.

He opened the door all the way and we both stepped out. At the end of the ally was a single zombie, Sollux picked it up with his telekinetic powers and tossed it against the wall smashing his head open.

We jogged out of the ally and continued our way deeper into the troll district.

Upon entering the Highblood part of the troll district we see a horde of zombies and stopped. There were about five of them, before they saw us we rushed them.

I slashed my sickles down into the head of one and whirled around to decapitate another. Sollux blasted the other three into several bits. Rainbow blood covered the ground seeing the zombies were trolls.

Before we continued on we looked at the faces more closely. I let out a breath of relief seeing that it was no one we knew.

I was about to start jogging again when Sollux grabbed my arm, "We're here kk, that'th Amora'th hive."

You looked up at the large purple mansion groaning, time to save that ignorant fuck.

Kanaya

Fef and I sprinted, Roses house was in view. The door was open and my heart was racing. We ran inside and I called for her. Fef had to take a break, but she told me she would hold up the fort and look for zombies that could be in the house.

I ran up the stairs, blood was splattered on the walls and Roses door was open. I pushed in the door and dropped to my knees, there was a puddle of blood by the foor, but there was no body.

I could tell the blood was healthy for there was no tinge of black in it. I shook and placed my hand in the drying blood and licked a little off.

I sighed from relief, it wasn't Roses. After throughly searching the house for Rose I felt both relief and fear. Relief that I did not find her harmed or a zombie and the fear that I have no idea where she is or where to start searching for her.

Nepeta

":33 Come on Equius, he have to leave!" I cried.

"Nepeta, I know what is best for us, if we just wait here a little longer they will leave." He said bracing his hands in the door making sure the zombies didn't break it down.

We were hulled up in Equius's basement. We were over run by the zombies of our friends. My kitty freind was out there and so was Tavros. I didn't know if Kanaya was diseased as well.

Quite honestly I didn't want to. More zombies had come from the streets and chased Equ and I down here.

I pulled at Equs arm, ":33 Just let go of the door we can crawl out the window!"

He looked back at me and then to the small window of the basement, "If I let the door go they will break in easily Nep, just a little longer."

He, the strongest troll, was beginning to shake, and the door was buckling. I let go of his arm and ran to the window looking out. I broke it quickly see that no one was out there.

I held out my hand to him, ":33 their breaking the door, mew aren't strong enough anymore, take my hand!"

Just then the door buckled and he was pushed back. She screeches and crawls out of the window looking around and then back in.

Her hand is extended and she grabs onto Equius's. His hand is sweaty and he begins to crawl out. But he screams out in pain one of the troll zombies bits his ankle into the tendon.

He kicks it back and sends it into the wall. I cry and try to pull him out of the window, but he let's go, "Be safe Nepeta, don't forget me."

Tears escape my eyes and I turn away so I don't have to face my moirail being eaten alive. I cover my ears and run away crying so I didn't have to hear his screams.

I reach the gates of the human district before I collapses down in the middle of the highway. Why couldn't I do anything? My friends were dropping like flies and I could do anything to save them.

Equ was the last straw. I stood up again and started walking again. I dried the tears from my eyes. I wasn't going to be a wimp anymore. I was going protect whoever was left alive.

I heard my name being called, I looked up and the four humans, Dave, Rose, Jade and John. I took in a deep breath and smiled at them and jogging to join them.

We walk up to the door and Sollux knocked on it. I looked at him and rolled my eyes, "ITS THE END OF THE FUCKING WORLD, NO ONES GOING TO ANSWER THE FUCKING DOOR!"

The door opens and Eridan stands there leaning on the door frame casually, "You were thaying kk?"
