Prince of Hope

We waited several minutes for them to leave, I knew they were not all going to be gone, but at least I might have a fighting chance. I was happy to place hope in both Karkat and Sollux, I just wished I had enough hope for myself.

I went to the corner of the room first and picked up my white science wand, I was glad I had kept it stashed up here and not in some god forsaken place downstairs.

I shook I was so scared, but I had to be strong for Sol. I snapped the latch of the stairs and they fell down to the chaos down below.

There weren't as many as I anticipated, and I quickly got to the bottom of the stairs and started blasting them. Most of them fell before they even knew what was going on. I actually began to believe that I could take them all on.

But then they started to come from downstairs. I turned back and ran, but the stairs to the attic were already pulled up. I veered left into another room and thank goodness this was the one that had the set of stairs leading into the kitchen.

I killed two zombies that were on the stairs and rushed down them. The door in the kitchen that lead outside was slightly ajar, but there were no zombies in here at the moment.

I ran outside seeing that it was clear and started blasting my white science into the sky yelling. The groaning of the zombies was getting louder and soon they started to trickle out of my hive.

I ran a few feet away and started to blast them. Some of them fell, but I didn't have as good aim with this amount of distance.

I shot into the sky again and yelled, more and more of them same from the hive. I was preoccupied with them that I didn't notice one that can come up behind me. It grabbed my shoulders and bit at my neck, but it only got a mouthful of scarf.

I slammed my head back and blasted his head off as I turned around. My scarf had come undone in it's mouth and it fell off and was burned in the blast.

I ran away towards the end of the Highblood district. Most of the zombies seemed to be following me, but now that Karkat and Sollux have a chance, how in the hell will I?

Karkat

We could hear yelling and the groans of the undead, but we wanted to wait a few minutes for Eridan to do whatever he was doing.

"FUCKING PRICK BETTER NOT RUN AWAY AND LEFT US TO DIE." I said.

Sollux groaned and slowly moved to sit up more, "kk, ii'm dyiing riight now and ii can't beliieve ii'm sayiing thiis, but giive Ampora some crediit. ii don't thiink he would leave us two diie."

I crossed my arms and bit my bottom lip. I hoped Sollux was right.

I listened at the door and all was pretty silent. I opened the latch and let everything fall down. I was met with silence.

I went back over to Sollux and grasped him under his good arm and hulled him up and with my free hand carried a sickle. We went to the edge of the stairs and walked down to see a pile of bodies.

"See kk, we can trust Ampora." Sollux stated, he moved out from under my arm and gripped his bleeding one, "ii can hold myself up, let's just get two the fuckiing tower."
