"So, you're the one who took over my body. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't this." Lady Tsunade studied Chiisai, and took in her bandaged head, her small stature, the strawberry patterned pajamas.

Chiisai kept still, trying her best not to fidget under the Hokage's scrutinizing gaze. Her eyes shifted to Kakashi, who seemed as calm as ever.

Lady Tsunade had flickered into her apartment at six in the morning, and Chiisai had been in her pajamas, making coffee, because she couldn't go back to sleep. Not that she had slept much after visiting Kakashi in the dream world. Her chakra had seemed under control, but she had woken herself right after Kakashi left, just in case.

No one had told that the meeting would be in her home.

It didn't help that the journals were gone, though. This reality was becoming too strange, too quickly, and she was scared she couldn't keep up. Especially with what happened last night between her and Kakashi. Her grip tightened on the mug in her hand, and she took a sip of coffee.

Kakashi cleared his throat. "I burned the journals yesterday. I didn't want to give Danzo a chance to find them."

Lady Tsunade nodded. "Good. Now tell me what's going on."

"Lady Hokage-"

Tsunade shook her head and pointed to Chiisai. "Not you, her."

Chiisai clutched the mug in her hands. Anger bubbled just below the surface of the Hokage's cool demeanor.

"Well," Chiisai  said, "I have an ability that's been sealed for around six years, and it's breaking, and I can't control it."

"The dream abilities."

"Yes," she nodded.

"Explain what that means."

The coffee tasted bitter on her tongue. Chiisai looked down at Tori, who sat by Lady Tsunade's feet. "Uh, well, I can step into dreams when I sleep, and change them. It let's me into a person's mind, like it's a back door, and I can, well, collect information. Control bodies. That sort of thing."

Lady Tsunade crossed her arms, and her brown eyes were hard. "Tell me what information you have on me."

"Pardon?" Chiisai blinked in surprise and glanced at Kakashi. He did not look happy.

Lady Tsunade said, "Kakashi said you had secret information about every leaf ninja in your books. I want to know if you have it all memorized."

"Are you sure?" Chiisai asked.

"Yes."

She tilted her forward and said, "All of it?"

Lady Tsunade's eyes narrowed as she said, "Chiisai. That's an order."

She pinched the bridge of her nose, sighed, and looked back up. Both of them waited expectantly for her reply, and she wasn't excited. In fact, she was pretty sure she was going to die in the next five minutes.

"Fine," Chiisai said. "Lady Tsunade, a Sannin, granddaughter of the first Hokage, trained as a kunoichi by Lord Third. You have incredible healing abilities and can concentrate your chakra into very strong punches. Not to mention your slug summoning, and the jutsu you have hidden in your forehead. It allows you to heal at an accelerated rate, making you nearly invincible if used in battle."

"Everyone knows all of this, practically." Lady Tsunade turned to Kakashi and added, "I thought you said she was a leaf encyclopedia, that she had dangerous information."

"She's getting there," Kakashi said.

Chiisai laid her mug down. "You like to live in the past, and have just now started to accept the present, despite utilizing your chakra to look younger. Your younger brother, Nawaki, died at the age of twelve, and later, your lover, Dan, died in your arms. You were unable to stop the blood loss, and because of this, you developed a phobia of blood, which I assume you've overcome. If I were to psychologically derail you now, I would say that it's your fault that Dan's dead, and that being the Hokage will not fulfill either of Nawaki or Dan's dreams. Because you couldn't save Dan, because you let him die, you instilled a fear inside of Orochimaru, who was there that night. He's scared to die now, and will unlock every jutsu until he can reach immortality. And if you hadn't abandoned the village after that, if you would have stayed, Orochimaru would have never tried attacking the leaf, and your sensei would still be alive. You're a failure of Hashirama's legacy, and your Creation Rebirth is a poor copycat of his healing capabilities. You seem to know this too, deep down, and that's why you gamble and drink, weighted down with guilt for a past you can't undo. You wonder if your grandfather is looking down on you in sha-"
