In the month that followed Jongho's disappearance, Hogwarts had changed completely.

Three other students had gone missing as well, and everyone was freaked out, students and teachers alike.

Students went from one class to another in groups, trying to keep an eyes on their friends, fearing they could be the next person to vanish. Everyone kept constantly looking around, anxiously waiting for the next disappearance.

Several rumors had spread about the whole affair. The most popular, yet craziest, was that some bad guy from the past Jungwon hadn't heard about before was back, but teachers kept repeating he had been defeated long ago and was gone for real.
To be honest, the missing students were all muggle born, so old traumas had resurfaced easily. The Daily Prophet had published several articles about it as well, which helped spreading the fear.
Some parents had even asked their children to come home.
The castle had definitely changed.

The Operation Pink Flamingo had been really busy finding clues for some, and following Jay for others -well, for Sunoo and Niki-.
Jungwon wasn't talking to Niki nor Sunoo that much anymore, which broke his heart. They were convinced Jay had something to do with the disappearances, but Jungwon couldn't believe it. They had fought about it for a week and then Jungwon had just dropped the case.
He didn't want to hear about the accusations anymore, but he also missed them every day.

On the other hand, Jake had been getting closer to this Slytherin Sunghoon guy, who apparently also played quidditch.
As they were both beaters, and they somehow had decided to train together, which did sound odd for anyone else. After all, training with someone who wasn't in your own team was odd.
Heeseung had passed his free time in the library, trying to find theories or clues, with no success so far.

Jungwon was the only one who still tried talking to Peeves daily. He was certain that the poltergeist had useful information, he just needed to convince him to share them. That task was extremely difficult because Peeves refused to appear near Jungwon, probably fearing Jungwon would want to continue their last talk.

After a whole Saturday morning spent looking for the poltergeist, Jungwon decided to join Heeseung in the library. He needed to rest a while.
As soon as he entered the room, he saw his friend almost hidden by an enormous pile of books.

"Hey" whispered Jungwon.
"Any luck?" whispered Heeseung back, his eyes still reading an old parchment in front of him.
"Nope..." said Jungwon. "Can't seem to get Peeves to talk to me."

Heeseung looked up. His friend looked tired.

"That sucks... I've read something about Peeves that might help you though" he announced, whispering a little louder.
"Really?" asked Jungwon, as he sat next to the Ravenclaw.
"Look in here" said Heeseung, pointing to an old leather cover book.

Hogwarts: An Updated History
by Christen Bagshot

Jungwon slid the book in front of him and opened it where Heeseung had left a little note.

...Hogwarts is the home of many teachers, students and pets, but it is also the home of lots of ghosts and paintings.
...Here is a short index pf Hogwarts' ghosts, followed by a short description...
...Some unlucky people have also reported the presence of a visible poltergeist which goes by the name of Peeves.
The latter is apparently fond of pranks and disturbing students as much as he can.
No one seems to be able to control him besides the Bloody Baron...

Jungwon read the section about Peeves twice. Heeseung was right, that was interesting. If Jungwon could get the Baron to help him, Peeves would probably talk.

But how do I get the Baron to help me?

Jungwon quickly glanced at the book, maybe he wasn't done reading afterall.

...The Bloody Baron was a wizard who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the Founders' time and was sorted into Slytherin House...

...After Hogwarts, he fell in love with Helena Ravenclaw, but she did not love him in return. He was sent by Rowena Ravenclaw to find Helena in Albania, but Helena refused to return with him and so he killed her in a rage. When he realised what he had done, the Baron stabbed himself with the same knife and died by suicide...

...After his death, he became one of the ghosts that haunts Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the ghost of Slytherin House. Covered in Helena Ravenclaw's blood to this day, he earned himself the moniker of "Bloody Baron"...

"So?" asked Heeseung.
"I, uh, did you know about the baron?" asked Jungwon, still in shock with what he had read last.
"Yeah, I read that during my first year here, after getting curious about the silver blood on his clothes. Let me tell you, I didn't sleep for a month back then" explained Heeseung. "So, are you going to ask him for help?"
"It seems that he's the only one that Peeves fears, so.. yeah" replied Jungwon, scared.

He had seen the Baron floating around the Slytherin's table during banquets, but he had never talked to him. This perspective wasn't very enchanting.

"I should go find him then" said Jungwon.
"I think he likes to haunt the astronomy tower" replied Heeseung. "Don't remember where I read that though."
"Don't worry about that, I'll go check" said Jungwon, getting up.

He took two steps before turning back.

"Thanks Hee" he said.

The concerned met his gaze and nodded, before going back to his parchment.
Jungwon smiled, showing his dimple.

After almost a month without talking to Niki or Sunoo, he had felt extremely alone. Thankfully Heeseung didn't want to pick sides, so Jungwon felt comfortable around him.

The Gryffindor knew he had a long walk until the astronomy tower, but he didn't mind. He liked wandering in the halls of the beautiful castle. He could still remember how amazed he had been upon arriving at Hogwarts for the first time.

The little innocent muggle-born young boy he was had turned into a talented wizard teenager, but he always felt small in the big hallways.

Lost in his daydreaming, Jungwon took some time realizing something.
He was alone.

A muggle born, in the hallway, alone.

The anguish that had taken control of the whole castle had waken in Jungwon's mind just like that. The Gryffindor started walking faster, eager to reach the main staircase. There were always students in the staircase, right?

Out of nowhere, he got the feeling he was being observed. A cold shiver went down his spine as he started running.

Just a few meters left.

He could already see the staircase on his left, soon he'd be safer.
As he finally reached the beginning of the staircase, he stumbled upon someone he hadn't even noticed before.

"Jungwon?"
"Niki?"

The two boys took a step back and Jungwon felt very awkward.

"I was looking for you" said Niki.
"Really?" asked Jungwon, kind of surprised.
"Yeah... I have some news" said Niki.

Jungwon looked at his friend. By the look on his face, he really couldn't tell wether it was good or bad news.

"They found Jongho" said Niki.
