"They found Jongho" said Niki.
"Really?" asked Jungwon, totally forgetting his argument with Niki. "Is he okay? Where is he?"

Niki's expression got even worst.

"Apparently he appeared in the middle of the diagon alley and someone brought him to St Mungo's" he replied.
"The hospital?" asked Jungwon in shock.
"Yeah.." said Niki. "Thing is he has forgotten everything."
"What do you mean everything?" asked Jungwon.
"He didn't even know his own name. A nurse recognized him from the missing posters" explained Niki.
"I can't believe it.. poor Jongho" whispered Jungwon, looking down.
"I know... I think no one imagined that" added Niki.

~

"At least we know where he is, and he will receive the best care in the hospital" said Jungwon, trying to see the good side.

The news about Jongho had spread faster than a flu in winter and literally everyone in the castle was talking about him. As he had lost his memory, no one knew why and how he had disappeared.
No one could believe it was an accident, because he hadn't been the only one, but no one could affirm it was a kidnapping, even though a lot believed that.
His close friends were extremely upset when they were denied a quick trip to London to visit him. The headmistress had said that no student would be allowed to visit him until his doctors gave them permission.
After all, Jongho was quite lost and he needed time to recover.

Logically, the fact that Jongho had appeared had given everyone hope that the rest of the missing students would come back as well, but that didn't happen like that.
In the week that followed Jongho's appearance, two more students disappeared. Both muggle born as well.

Jungwon had started talking to Sunoo and Niki again, but the three of them never talked about Jay, well, at least Sunoo and Niki never talked about Jay to Jungwon. As far as they were concerned, Jay was involved in all this.

In fact, since the beginning of the year, the Slytherin's prefect looked more tired every day. He had dark circles under his eyes and he looked pale. Sunoo had noticed that he didn't eat much either.
That could have been explained by him being in the fifth year, hence being under a lot of stress because of the O.W.L.S, but that wouldn't explain why he kept wandering every night.

In fact Sunoo had decided it was time for operation flamingo to take action.
Yes, Jongho was alive, but he had lost his memory. Sunoo was convinced someone had cursed him and he was determined to find out who it was.

Now, he didn't think Jay was guilty of obliterating Jongho, but he was sure that Jay played a part in this, maybe kidnapping the students.

How they were transported out of school was another question that he couldn't answer yet.

~

"So tonight?" asked Niki.
"Yep" agreed Sunoo. "We'll meet in the dungeons and we'll follow Jay wherever he goes at night."

Niki nodded, he was worried. He came from a family of wizards, so he apparently shouldn't be too worried about being kidnapped, but Sunoo was half and half.
That had been on his mind since Jongho's disappearance.

What if Sunoo disappeared as well?

That thought sent shivers down Niki's spine. He couldn't stand it.

"I'll just have to make up an excuse" said Niki. "Cause Jungwon will notice."
"What if you told him you had a date with me?" asked Sunoo, casually.
"A what now?" asked Niki, unsure his hears had heard the words date with me.
"What if you told him you were helping me with homework?" repeated Sunoo, frowning.

What did happen just there?

"That could work I guess" said Niki, still puzzled. "I'll see how it goes."

~

"How did it go?" asked Heeseung, pretty excited.
"I found him!" said Jungwon. "Finally found the Baron."
"Where was he?" asked Jake.
"In the dungeons" said Jungwon. "I should have started there."

To be honest, Jungwon was kind of scared of Hogwarts dungeons. Firstly, the temperature was extremely cold down there and mostly, he always felt observed whenever he went down those stairs.

His plan was quite simple: find the Baron, convince him into helping him, make Peeves reveal what he knew, nice and easy.

He had started by looking in the astronomy tower, but hadn't found anyone there. His next guess was the dungeon, even though he dreaded the thought.

"Not surprising" commented Jake.
"Did he agree to help you?" asked Heeseung, full of hope.
"Well, not exactly" said Jungwon. "As I arrived I greeted him and explained I was having trouble with Peeves. He got kind of upset and mumbled something about missing dumblesomething."
"Dumbledore?" asked Heeseung.
"Yes, that's the name" confirmed Jungwon.
"Who's he?" asked Jake.
"Don't you ever pick a book up?" asked Heeseung. "He was one of Hogwarts Headmasters. And a very talented one if I read correctly."
"Thank you professor" said Jake.

Jungwon looked at them, a light smile on his lips. He definitely had a lot of friendships based on sarcasm and bickering around him.

"What happened next?" asked Heeseung, ignoring Jake's last comment.
"Well, he said that he wasn't there to be Peeves' babysitter" said Jungwon.
"That sounds about right" mumbled Jake.
"I tried telling him that Peeves knew something about the disappearances" added Jungwon. "He smiled and replied that it didn't concern him."
"Lovely" commented Heeseung. "What now?"

~

"SUNOO" called Niki, a lot louder than permitted in the library.

The bookkeeper looked at him and whispered "first and last warning".

"What is it?" whispered Sunoo, looking at his friend.
"I think I found something on Jay" said Niki.

Sunoo stood up. They had decided to do some research on Jay for the rest of the afternoon. If they wanted to prove that Jay was involved, they had to find a motive.

"Look" said Niki, showing Sunoo the book he was reading. "It's about old families of witches and wizards."

Sunoo didn't answer, he simply followed Niki's finger up an enormous tree.
In fact, the family tree was so big that the image of the tree had been enchanted to move along the reader's finger, making the ancestors' names appear and the more recent names disappear.

"Wow it's long" commented Sunoo.

As soon as he said that, the tree stopped moving and Sunoo read something he wasn't expecting.

"So, the Bloody Baron had a brother?" he read out loud.
"Yep" said Niki. "And his only living parents are..."
"Jay and his mother" finished Sunoo.

They stayed in silence for a second.

"Okay, so Jay and the Bloody Baron are related, that doesn't prove that Jay is guilty" said Sunoo.
"Are you sure?" asked Niki. "His whole family is pure blood, and he's the descendant of the Bloody Baron?"
"Mmm, yeah, I'm not convinced" said Sunoo. "But it is amazing yet useless trivia about Jay."

"We'll see that tonight" said Niki, who seemed pretty sure about his theory.

~

"Did Jungwon buy it?" asked Sunoo as Niki joined him in the dungeon.

It was past their bedtime, but neither of them cared. They needed to spy on Jay to understand what was going on.

"He was asleep" said Niki, not explaining much more.

Sunoo nodded. They found a perfect hideout behind a statue. They could see the entrance of Slytherin's common room perfectly from there.

They stood there in silence for a while. They had lost track of tome and were almost sleeping when Jay left the dorm.

Niki elbowed Sunoo and they started following the Slytherin the most silently they could.
