"Is he the guy I hung up on earlier?" She asks.
"It is" I chuckle softly kissing her shoulder.
"I better look presentable you go greet your friend I'll be in the bathroom" she says before getting up and leaving to the bathroom.
I throw on a pair of dress pants and a white button up and I walk down the stairs to see Andre waiting. "Andre" I smile.
"Derek, it's been too long my friend" he says his french accent shining through his voice.
"It has" I chuckle.
"So, who is this girlfriend you mentioned?" He asks curiously.
"She is in the bathroom told me she had to look presentable" I smile.
"Hm name?" He asks curiously.
"Meredith" I say and lead him into the kitchen.
"Beautiful" he says.
"I know, and no trying to get her into bed with you stole all of my middle school girlfriends I don't want you stealing this one, I love this one" I say pointing a finger at him.
"Okay okay" he says raising his hands up.
"Derek do you think this looks okay"
She says before noticing Andre and looks up at him and waves awkwardly. "Hi" she says.

I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her before whispering into her ear "you look ravishing mi amore"
"I'm Andre you must be Meredith" Andre says holding out his hand for her to shake.
"I am" she says shaking his hand.
"Whiskey?" I ask Andre and he nods and I look down at Meredith and decide on white wine for her.
"I'll be back" I say and leave to go get the drinks.
I come back to them making a light conversation and I smile to myself. I pour them their glasses and hand it to them. "Thank you" Meredith smiles widely.
"It's just wine gattina" I chuckle.
"I was being polite" she pouts.
"You're right you were being polite" I agree with her and kiss her cheekbefkre sitting behind her and massaging he sides.
"So chérie, please do tell me how you met Derek" he smiles taking a drink of his whiskey.
