Another two year time jump
"Greyson Luca is mine you play with Nico" Madeline says grabbing her duck from him and giving him his bear.
"Madi" he frowns he can't say Madeline but he can call her by her nickname so that works.
"Greyson Nico is yours play with him" she says as he drops his bear trying to grab her duck.
She eventually just gets mad that he isn't doing what she wants so she walks away and goes into her room to play with her ducks without starting a big fight she hates making him mad because then he cry's and she hates it.
"Der" Meredith says wrapping her arms around me from behind.
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Work is exhausting" she sighs.
"I know bambina" I say as I watch Greyson play with his little bear family it's the cutest thing especially when Madeline grabs her duck family and they play neighbors.
"Want to hear what happened today?" she asks.
"Sure" I say.
"Well I threw up" she says.
"Are you okay?" I frown pulling her in front of me so I can see her and she does look a bit pale.
"I made Cristina go buy me a pregnancy test, she bought me three" she says.
"Did you take them?" I ask brushing the hair out of her face.
She nods. "Derek we're having another baby" she smiles at me.
"Another baby" I repeat.
"Another baby" she nods.
I kiss her lips softly then pull away. "We have to think of an animal for this one" I chuckle before hugging her.
"Mommy" Greyson tugs on her dress and Madeline comes down stairs in a happier mood with Luca her duck or in other words her best friend.
I pick Madeline up and she picks Greyson up. "We have some news for you guys" Meredith says.
"Oh no uncle Mark is going to come, let's go Greyson we have to make sure he doesn't steal our toys" Madeline says trying to get down.
"Don't worry Uncle Mark was here two days ago he won't be back until next week" I chuckle.
"Oh good" she sighs.
"News?" Greyson asks sitting nicely on Meredith's lap.
"I'm pregnant, that means I have another baby growing inside of me" Meredith explains with a smile and a protective hand kn her stomach.
"Another baby" Madeline's eyes light up.
"bay?" Greyson frowns.
He doesn't understand as much things like Madeline did at that age and he doesn't have as big of a vocabulary we took him to the doctor she said everything is fine Madeline was just a early bloomer.
"Yes a little baby like Lizzie's baby Lorenzo" I say to him.
"Love enzo" he grins.
"Yeah mommy has a baby in her tummy like Lorenzo" I say softly.
"love you bay" he grins touching Meredith's stomach.
"I can't wait to meet you little baby" Madeline says getting off of me and kissing Meredith's stomach.
"I think that if it's a girl the animal should be a dolphin" Meredith says.
"If it's a boy the animal should be a shark" I chuckle.
"The rooms will all be perfectly in a line" Meredith giggles.
"All in birth order" I say.
"We're excited to meet you baby" She says touching her stomach.
"So excited" I grin putting my hand on top of hers.
"I love you" Meredith says.
"I love you too" I say kissing her softly.
