Derek Shepherd

Two year time jump

"Derek she's a two year old and you're her dad it's not weird for you to bathe her" Meredith rolls her eyes at me.

"When you have our son you'll understand" I say.

"No I won't because I'm going to give our son baths when he is two years old" She crosses her arms.

"Fine but I'm only doing this because you're six months pregnant" I say picking Madeline up kissing her cheek.

"Ready to take a bath?" I ask her and she grins.

"Bath!" she giggles clapping her hands.

"Let's go tesoro" I say carrying her into the bathroom.

I start the bath and I undress her but keep her diaper on. I pick her up and lay her on the changing table.

I change her diaper as the bath fills. I set her in the bath and give her, her duckies she has a thing for rubber duckies.

I turn the faucet off and watch her as she plays in the water. "Duckies daddy" she giggles splashing with them.

"Yes duckies" I chuckle as she hands me one and has me play with her like they are talking.

"Duckies like bath?" she asks.

"Yes they do they also like when we put bubbles in our hair" I say.

"Bubbles in hair?" she asks.

"Yes" I nod grabbing the shampoo bottle which also has ducks on the bottle.

Her whole bedroom is rubber duck themed she has light yellow walls with strips of rubber duck wallpaper and her bed sheets are white and yellow with you guessed it more rubber ducks.

I think she loves them because she had a lot of duck things when she was really little so for our little boy I want to have bear things I don't know why I just think it'll be cute.

Once i'm done washing her hair I just sit and watch her play for a little bit before I take  her out of the bath and wrap her in her ducky towel.

I carry her to her room and change her into her her blue and yellow pajamas, blue representing the water and it has yellow ducks on them. "Ready to go chill downstairs with Mommy?" I ask her after I finish brushing her hair.

"Daddy you forgot to get Luca you silly" she giggles running over to her bed grabbing her favorite stuffed yellow duck and then running back over to me putting her hands up for me to pick her back up.

"Now are you ready?" I ask and she nods laying her head down on my shoulder.

I smile and carry her downstairs I sit down on the couch I lay her down in the middle of Meredith and her head laying on my leg her feet next to Meredith.

She's hugging her duck tightly as her eyes start to droop and she tries to fight it but Meredith and I are both rubbing her back softly and she always falls asleep to that for some reason but we don't complain.

Once she's out for a little while I carry her back to her room and lay her down. I walk to my room to see Meredith undressed and holding a vibrator to her clit, this is going to be a hell of a night.
