Derek and I have been at the lake house for three days, Derek told me we could stay for as long as I want but I have to work so I said seven days a whole week.
"So you want to talk?" I ask sitting on his lap on our bed.
"I do" he nods wrapping his arms around me.
"Okay talk to me" I say laying my head on his shoulder.
"Well let me just start off saying I was stupid and made lots of enemies" he says and I nod waiting for him to continue. "I- I want you to know that just being involved with me puts your life at risk" he says looking into my eyes I see sadness in his.
"I know Derek you told me in the beginning but I don't care, I love you" I say grabbing his face and putting my forehead against his.
"Sometimes love isn't enough" he says quietly.
"But it will be for us Derek because without you I have no idea where I would be right now probably sitting at home or getting drunk" I say wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Just for us" he whispers.
"Just for us" I repeat.
"Okay, now I have to tell the less bad part I guess but I think it's still pretty bad" he says.
"Okay" I say.
"I used to do drugs lots of drugs, I got drunk every night, had fucking threesomes with Mark I don't like Mark enough to do that sober" he sighs but continues. "I over dosed one night but luckily I was found by Mark and he brought me to the hospital, then I went to rehab until I got better" he says softly with red eyes and I had tears threatening to fall.
"But you're all better now Derek and now you have me and we're in love and I never want to leave you ever we are forever" I say sitting up and looking into his eyes tears streaming down both of our faces.
"Does marriage scare you Meredith?" He asks me sobering up and wiping his tears he hates showing emotion like that and he never cries in front of me for a second I thought he just about never has cried.
"It used to scare me actually I never thought about getting married atleast before I met you anyway" I say as he gets up from the bed walking around the room I think he's looking for something.
"Would it scare you if I asked you to marry you right now?" He asks me when he sits next to me in the bed holding a beautiful ring in his hand.
"I- I mean I don't know what to say I'm mean I would love to be engaged with you but like when would we get married how soon?" I ask.
"It could be a long engagement, think of it as a promise ring except it's more than just a promise it's the actual thing" he says with a soft smile.
"I- yes, yes Derek I would love to marry you...eventually" I giggle with more tears falling down as he slides the ring onto my left ring finger.
"I love you Meredith Grey" he says.
"I love you Derek Shepherd" I smile as he kisses me passionately.
"Engagement sex?" I ask raising my eyebrow after we pull away.
"Definitely engagement sex" he smirks pushing me on my back onto the bed as he hovers over me.
He sits up pulling off his clothes before un-dressing me. He starts to kiss and suck on my neck but I don't care for foreplay right now I need him inside of me fast and hard.
"Derek, forget the foreplay just fuck me already" I beg.
"I'm not going to fuck you tesoro, but I will make love to you" he whispers into my ear before slowly entering me.
He pumps into me slowly making me let out whimpers he hardly ever goes soft on me during sex but it feels nice like I can actually feel him more than I have before.
He massages my breasts as he thrusts into me a little faster. He takes my nipple into his mouth and I feel my orgasm approaching but I want to hold it off until he whispers into my ear again. "Cum for me bambina let it all out" he whispers before taking my other nipple into his mouth.
