Chapter 1 princess of the night

Theif that is what I am. I kill people if I have to but it's all for my agency I steal things and give them back to their rightful owners. And if there are casualties then I'll kill to leave no witnesses. At first I did it because it was easy pay since I had to take care of me and my little brother. But now I do it as a side hustle for when they really need me. And it's extra money. What they call me princess of the night.

Rumors spread about how when I kill people I do it so gracefully like a princess. I don't see it but idk. My real name is Akari Yamada I'm 27 years old and right now i work at capital city Berlint city hall in Ostania Germany. I live alone and haven't been married or even had a boyfriend. I think that's because of my terrible attitude problem. I've been trying to work on it when you've been on your own for so long taking care of yourself and brother you grow tuff skin. But maybe that'll change at some point.

Akari ran though the museum with the panting she was assigned to steal back and return. As she got passed the alarms some stepped a few feet in front of her sliding to stop she saw it was her Enemy twilight.

Akari kicked the painting up in the air causing twilight to look up. She ran at him full speed then slid through his legs. She got behind him she tried to kick making him fall but he jumped dodging her kick. She quickly got up and caught the painting.
Hm? Good thing your light on your feet. Akari said then started running. Twilight dashed after her. Akari ran feeling her self get tired.
Damn I didn't get much sleep last night. I didn't think I'd be running today.
While she was stuck in her thoughts twilight appeared infront of her throwing a punch making akari lean back dodging it.
Enough of this. She threw the picture of then threw a kick at twilight but he caught it punching her in the face making her stumble. Akari stumbled wiping her blood off her nose.
Now I'm angry. Akari glared catching the photo. She tossed it aside then charged at twilight fighting with a series of different combos. He blocked them all.
If this keeps up she might actually kill me.
Akari kicked up making him lose his block. But before she could land the final blow twilight grabed her hand and pined her down handcuffing her.

Sorry. But you won't be getting away- akari head butted him making him stumble and hold his nose. He looked around and saw akari and the painting gone.
Yoohoo up here little twilight. Akari called sitting on the window swinging her leg. Twilight looked up and saw her as he glared at her.
See told you. You'd try we fight then I get away. At this point you might as well just marry me. It seems you always like going after me.

At capital city berlint, city hall the next morning.
Did you hear? A thief might've entered our office. *Akari flinched almost dropping the tea pot.* Apparently, they only searched drawers with information regarding girls. Like, what? What kind of creep does that? A coworker with blond hair asked while star sighed doing the rest she needed to do.
Honestly, the section chief is way creepier. He's always ogling me. A girl with brown hair said.
That's because you're always wearing those short skirts. A lady with black hair and glasses said while she held a cigarette.
Well, my boyfriend likes it when I wear them. The lady with brown hair said as the lady with black hair took a puff from her cigarette looking out the window.

The other day, a single woman in her late twenties got reported by her neighbors for being suspicious. The blond haired one said staring at Akari with a smirk as if she were accusing her of being a spy making Akari glare at her.

Oh, yeah I'm having a party at my place this weekend. You should totally come, star. Make sure you bring your partner with you. Camilla said waving as she and the other ladies left the room leaving Akari in shock. Camilla smirked as she finally left Akari speechless.

Maybe the creeper who snuck into this place will go with her. Camilla said making star scoff biting her lip as she clenched her fist in anger.
