Aisha's POV

"Aisha? C-can you please pick me up from here? My car has gotten into an accident. I-I really need you, and I am sending you my location. Please come fast. I am scared."

A groan escaped my mouth. "What the hell have you done? You know I don't have any car, do you?"

"Shit. What should I do now?" She asked, gasping as I heard a metal click sound.

"Have you called Aaron?" I asked. I switched on the night light as I balanced the phone between shoulder and ear, walking toward the mini closet. My hands searched for a pair of trouser and a t-shirt, throwing a few items from the way.

"H-he is not picking up the call. D-don't tell him, p-please. He will kill me."

"Oh, you don't say that because I am in full mood to kill you, too, right now." I said, slipping into my shoes as I took my clutch from the night stand. "Now send me the fucking location."

"y-yes." She said, and I felt her voice turning heavy. A yawn escaped my mouth, but I patted the side of my head while shaking the head to contain the sleep away from me.

A ping sound flashed the phone with notification. I cut the call and saw the location Riri sent. Thank fucking goodness! I sighed in relief when the distance was just a mile long. I quickly typed the message of my arrival as I locked the door and went outside on the barren road. With one last glance at Aaron's apartment, moved away down the street.

Walking, I unlocked the phone and dallied Aaron's number. An effort in vain when he did not pick up, even after my third trial. I sighed deeply as I took a right turn, changing the walking speed to a jog.

Once I reached a two hundred meters close to the location, I spotted a black car attached to a pole as if they were brothers meeting after an eon. The bumper was steaming in the white smoke. I twisted my head around, to look for Riri as I walked further.

The broad street was barren with a few cars parked on the sides, which still left space for almost three cars to pass side by side. On both the sides of the street there were apartments, three cafes on the ground floor which had their names shining in the LED lights. I sighed as I crossed the street to the car. Behind the smoke, resting her hips on the car door I saw Riri with tears flowing down her cheeks.

What the hell was she thinking?

I walked towards her with utmost silence that even secret agents would come to me to take lessons. I stopped when I was a few feet away from her. Keeping my phone in my trouser pocket, I raised the hands and lightly pushed her shoulders. "BOO!"

She screamed on top her lungs that if I was not there to cover her mouth she would have woken up the entire city and spent the night in jail. Anyways, I smirked when her eyes landed on me and she sighed in relief. But, seconds passed by in mili seconds as one moment her shoulders relaxed, another her palms balled into a fist as she narrowed her eyes at me, another moment her lower lip quivered and she slammed her chest in me. Her hands wrapped around my waist in an iron grip as I felt her shoulders vibrate and the crook of my neck wet.

She deserved a Guinness world record to show hundred of emotions in one second. She really did. But, I kept the thought to myself as I rubbed her back. I grabbed her shoulders, pushing her away as I wiped her tears. "Shh. I am here, now."

"Thank you for coming." she said between a hiccup.

Aww, poor thing. I cleared my throat. "Umm- how are we supposed to go home? As far as I know you are far away from there, and I even though I know how to drive, trust me, that would be a disaster much worse than our current situation. If we start walking right now, I guess it will take us one hour and thirty six minutes to reach your house." I said.
