O Parth, the qualities of those who possess a demoniac nature are hypocrisy, arrogance, conceit, anger, harshness, and ignorance.

Aisha's POV

"If you touch a single hair in his body, I'll bury you alive. And that's my promise, uncle." I said, digging the broken glass more into his skin.

His throat bobbed down, eyes slightly turning wide. The distraction cost uncle as Aaron quickly flipped the gun from uncle's hands to his. He was now pointing it between his brows.

When I heard gunshots and saw bhaiya lying on the ground, my entire body went numb. All my mind could think of was to gather every last drop of energy from my body and stand up to save him. But then, uncle jumped on Aaron and I lost it. I had felt so many things in my life. Fear. Anger. Love. Loss. But not desire. Desire to kill uncle with my hands for even thinking about hurting Aaron, let alone pointing a gun at him. So, I found the cocaine injections by crawling to the back, where they had their stuff in a bag along with a shattered piece of glass.

A flood of emotions rolled in me when Aaron sucked in a breath, never breaking our eye contact. I nodded slowly, as I stabbed the injection in my uncle's neck. Aaron held him tight until the drugged worked into his system, and he dozed into slumber sleep. Just for more surety, I injected another dose as well.

Aaron dropped uncle on the seat, tying him with the seat belt. Once done, our eyes locked again, and this time he rushed toward me, hugging me close to his chest. My bones were aching. Every fucking part of my body felt like iron weight- yet in those moments of weakness, the warmth of his chest was my painkiller. A strangled sob came from my throat, his chest thundering beneath my cheek. Blinking away the moist eyes, I pulled apart a few inches.

"Leave," I whispered.

He clenched his jaw, shaking his head vigorously, tears threatening to spill on his bruised cheek. My heart clenched, but my eyes hovered over bhaiya. He was unconscious for so long, blood spilling from his ribs like a pool of red.

"Shh, I've got you." He said, running a hand through my hair.

"Aaron, leave." I tightened my hold on his waist. He pulled me against him, pressing my cheek into his chest. A promise to never let go of me. "bhaiya needs someone, Aaron. Please."

I sobbed, nuzzling my nose in his chest.

"Let's just get out of here together, sweetheart, okay? I will save Rahul."

With utmost determination, I ripped myself from him. Our faces inch apart as I held his jaw in my palm, grazing the thumb beneath his eyes. Locking our eyes, I took a deep breath as I pecked his lips. The divine softness lingered over mine for a moment.

Our foreheads touched each other, as I closed my eyes. "You can do this, Aaron. I am weak but I can walk. You can leave me here and take bhaiya out of here. Please. I beg you. My life is not that important. But his life is. Millions of people need him. Just... just take him out first. I will follow you. I promise."

"But I need you more than those million people will ever need Rahul." He said

"He is the only family I have, Aaron. Try to understand that I might never be the same if anything happens to him. He has already lost too much blood. Please, at least take him to the airport medical room, hmm? Come back to me as soon as some doctor sees him." My shoulders shook as I sobbed with a broken scream even though my throat hurt like a bitch.
