"I don't want to once again witness the death of my love ones."

Rock is not the only one who is got taken back with his words but also his mother who happened to listen on their conversation.

"I'm sorry." A whisper comes from two persons that hold closely important to his heart.

-

A week passed since that day but Cale never stopped sulking. Rock, of course, has no choice but to ride on whatever his kid wants, to not dismayed the kid more than he was.

Actually, ever since that day, Cale has been throwing tantrums. Especially on the training grounds.

Bud, who is his swordsmanship teacher, experienced it first hand and is currently hiding from the scary student who keeps dragging him to the training ground to train nonstop.

And Rock, who is the main reason for the kid's tantrums, is also kept getting dragged into the training ground for a spar.

For the whole week, Cale challenged his father for a spar and left Rock no choice but to agree. Rock, who has more experience in fighting, won but on the seventh day of the week, he finally lost, which angered the kid even more.

Rock came to realize... no. He knows well enough that raising a kid is never will ever be easy, he understand that ever since he have Cale in his life.

"You've been sighing since you sat on that rocking chair, young man or should I call you master now?"

Rock paid no mind to Lala as he sunk comfortable on the rocking chair.

"You act like an old man." Lala proceeded to her job. She placed the snacks the kids made with her on the table near the master of the villa. She even tell it to him as she was so proud to keep it a secret just like what the kids asked her to do.

He finally stood up from his rest after Lala walked out the room. His body was aching from staying in that position for so long.

He chose to sit on the couch, where he quietly ate the delicious snacks that the kids made for him.

It didn't go unnoticed to him the familiar taste of the snacks. He knows well that not only Raon, On and Hong but Cale also help in making this. Rock always eats food that was made by Cale, it's impossible to not notice it.

In the middle of eating, he wished for a peaceful monday.

Knock

Knock

Rock choose to relax on his sit before he permit the entrance. The door opened lightly and a young girl entered.

"Good morning, Rock."

"On." Rock greeted her back and asked her.

On didn't hesitate to sit across him, she even smiled after seeing the almost empty plate that previously full of snacks.

"Cale-hyung want to bring me and my siblings to the school. Can we?" She asked.

Cale actually hoping that they can have friends around their age. Fortunately, Cale have to attend the school as a temporary teacher in daycare. He grab that chance to bring them with him.

"Do whatever you want."

She immediately understood what he meant. She stood up and said her goodbye but was called when she was about to leave. She was already in front of the door when she stopped and looked back to the back of her guardian.

"Do you ever think of joining school?"

"... yes?"

"Go and look around the school today and tell me later if you want to. Ask your brothers too." said Rock.

"Yes, I'll do that. Thank you, Rock."
She left the room with a smile on her face.

Cale, who is just in the corner of the stairs, confusedly looked at her and wondered what she was smiling about. She just shrugged when she was asked.

"Let's go and get the two. We will be late."

They actually arrived late.

When they come and get the two, On and Cale witnessed a horrible scene. The two kids who just got changed were found with a messy appearance and a poor chocolate cake that looks like it got smashed. The two oldest have to clean them again before they go.

Among the children in the class, On and Hong are in the back with an invisible Raon, listening to a warm voice of Cale while story telling.

After his class, On and Hong were pulled by the other students to join the activities. While they are on it, Cale is in the door ways with Professor Anthony and keeping the students on watch.

"Looks like they are having fun." Professor Anthony whispered that gained a chuckle from his student.

"I'm glad." Cale sincerely said. Cale watched On giggled with her new friends and Hong ran after his friends.

"I'm afraid that they are not enjoying themselves at home since father is stoic and busy at work while my grandpa and grand-uncle are too boring for them. I'm also away all of the time and don't have time to spend with them."

While the two dragons can take care of the three children, they don't have the same energy as the kids to play with them. Kids can admit that Cale is also boring sometimes. (Wopsie! I'm sorry, darling!)

"Do you have fun?" Cale cracks a question while he feeds Raon. They are currently in a private room of a restaurant. He took them on lunch dates right after he toured them around the whole school.

The two kids happily nodded as On is focused on her food.

His eyes stayed on her. It looks like she wanted to say something.

"Do you want to join the class?" Cale asked instead. She looked shocked for a second.

She shyly looked away before she bravely looked at his eyes with full determination. "I want to."

"That's good. How about you, Hong, Raon?"

Hong agreed but Raon didn't as he was about to take lessons from the ancient dragon. On and Hong also take lessons from the dragon but it will also be better for them to interact with the kids around their age. Raon will also follow them after years.

"Let me tell you this." He suddenly gets serious that makes the three children lean in to listen. "If you want something, don't hesitate to ask."

The children politely nodded.

Cale smiled at them but internally screaming.

'but please don't ask too much. Ask father instead!' he thought as his hand gripped harder on his drained wallet.
