He already dived on his bed after finding the way to his room, without changing his outdoor clothes. When he is about to sleep, he remembers something.
“Oh, the last day of the deal is already next week… that man has nephews, should I bring Cale to play around?”
-
“Do you enjoy travelling this much?" Cale asked in curiosity. Rock only eyed him in a puzzle which Cale made his question clear after he took a spoonful of rice. "I mean, we just went somewhere last week and now, you planned to go somewhere again."
"I have a plan of meeting a 'friend’” Rock used the word ‘friend’ but they are neither a friend but only an acquaintance because of deals by both sides.
Cale ignores his reason and then throws another question. “I’m guessing that your dream before is to be a traveller?”
“What? No. My one and only dream is to be a rich slacker.” He said it with full pride that he only received a weird look from the kid.
“That is something impossible! Even people from higher levels have to work to live.”
Lux, who has been behind Rock, stops himself from laughing, not really wanting to mock his boss’ lifetime dream, but he agrees at what the kid tells the man.
“Well, everything can be possible, impossible can be possible.” Rock made it clear to the person behind him and the kid (by glaring at the two) that it will happen, well, it is already happening but still has stuff to handle.
After that lunch, Lux followed Rock way back to the office, Lux remained standing as Rock sat on his chair.
“The deal should be today, are you going to bring the kiddo?” Lux starts preparing for their tea in the corner of Rock’s office.
“Yes. There are children there, he can play with them.” Rock answered but his eyes remained from the letter he was writing.
“You sure? Aren’t they…?” Strong, vicious or scary, Lux can’t think of a right word to describe the said tribe.
“Their tribe must be vicious but pretty sure they aren’t training their children to be soldiers.”
“Not that! I am worried that they would have different ways of playing.”
“Cale can play if he wants to.”
“Actually, boss…” Lux paused for a while, checking if he really had Rock full attention. “Can I train the kiddo?”
Finally, he got his full attention but Rock only looked at him blankly before continuing what he was doing. Though, Lux already understands what the man is trying to say.
To do what he wants to do.
“You should ask if Cale wants to. Don’t forget to ask for Bud’s permission too.”
Right. No one will want to have Bud sulking for a whole week. Drunk Bud is okay, strong Bud is okay, but sulking Bud is worse.

A sound of knocking from the window caught the two men’s attention. There they saw a pigeon waiting for them to open the window. When Rock opened it, the pigeon entered and landed on his table.
“Message from?”
“Aldan. He sent a report.” A common one. It is just a report about the transportation and… a little report for whatever is happening all over the western continent.
