Welcome Home (Finchel/Quick)

"Santana's downstairs with the car." Puck noted. "Are you coming or not?"

"No." Rachel said.

"Don't you think it'd be a good idea to talk to Finn before the rest of us sit down for lunch with him?" Puck asked. "He's gonna wanna catch up."

"Don't talk to him about me." Rachel advised Puck. "Just talk about yourself. And Quinn."

"What if he asks me what I did on March 4th in 2013?" Puck wondered.

"He's not going to." Quinn insisted.

"It's bad enough I've had to hide this from him every time he's called, but I've hurt Finn a lot over the years." Puck stated. "I don't know if I can look him in the eye and lie."

"If you can't handle one afternoon, then go back to the apartment until I come home." Quinn said. "Rachel's telling him today. It's just one more day."

Puck bit his lip. "I can't not go see him."

"Then let's go, babe." Quinn commanded. She sighed as she looked at Rachel. "Good luck."

"Thanks." Rachel nodded as Quinn and Puck left Finn's apartment.

After what felt like hours, Finn entered the apartment. He froze when he saw Rachel.

"Welcome home, Finn." Rachel smiled as she walked over and hugged him.

"What are you doing here?" Finn asked as he pulled away.

"Quinn and Puck told me you were coming home today." Rachel stated.

"Yeah, I just saw them. And Kurt. None of them told me you would be here." Finn responded.

"I wanted to see you." Rachel said. "To talk."

"I don't wanna talk now." Finn replied. "Look, I just got home. I wanna unpack and settle in. I think you should go."

"Finn, I have to tell you something." Rachel muttered. "So just listen, okay?"

"Fine." Finn gave in. "What's so important?"

Rachel took a deep breath.

"Tell me." Finn requested. "Whatever it is, just tell me."

"Okay." Rachel began. "A few weeks after you left, I found out I was pregnant."

"You what?" Finn asked.

"Finn."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Finn blurted.

"You dumped me and you left." Rachel reminded Finn.

"I didn't... I just..." Finn mumbled.

"I didn't know how to tell you over the phone or with a text message." Rachel continued. "But Kurt and Quinn and Puck helped me through everything, and Puck was there when he was born."

Finn didn't say anything.

"I wasn't sure what I wanted to do, but I asked everyone to let me be the one to tell you." Rachel explained. "Carole thought it would be a good idea for me to raise him here, at least until you came home."

"So everybody knows except me?" Finn questioned Rachel.

"I wanted our son to know his family." Rachel told Finn. "He knows who you are, Finn."

"Can I meet him?" Finn requested.

"Of course you can."
