"Hey." Quinn said as she walked over to Puck's locker. "Don't forget to pick up your tickets."

"Tickets?" Puck repeated.

"For graduation." Quinn answered. "Didn't you ask your mom to come?"

Puck shook his head. "I didn't ask anyone to come."

Quinn frowned. "Someone should be there to support you."

Puck shrugged. "Well, I'm sure my mom's not coming."

"Why not?" Quinn asked.

"Have you ever seen her at a football game or glee competition? She doesn't come to these kinds of things." Puck shrugged. "Besides, she's probably working."

"You still should ask." Quinn pointed out.

"It's too last-minute." Puck stated. "I didn't even think I'd graduate honestly."

"I knew you would." Quinn smiled, pausing for a moment. "Invite your mom to come. I'm sure she's proud of you."

"Totally." Puck muttered as he closed his locker. "I gotta go pick up Sarah, but I'll see you tomorrow at graduation."

"See you tomorrow." Quinn nodded.

Puck took a deep breath as he got in his truck. He looked at his graduation cap and gown on the passenger seat, still in the packaging.

The glee kids were all meeting early to hang out and get ready together in the choir room. Puck put a cigarette in his mouth and lit it as he started driving to McKinley for the last time.

When Puck got to McKinley, he chucked his cigarette on the ground and rolled up the windows as he turned off the radio, but he didn't get out of the car. He couldn't stop thinking about graduation.

Never in a million years did Puck think he would graduate high school. In fact, he always thought he had a better chance of winning the lottery. He sort of hated to admit it, but he was proud of himself.

After growing up the way he did - with an abusive, and then absent, father, and a mother who wasn't warm or supportive towards him, Puck never expected he'd get to graduate with his friends. He really was proud of himself.

Puck jumped as Quinn tapped on his car window.

"Sorry." Quinn apologized. "You're late. Are you coming?"

"Yeah." Puck nodded. He grabbed his cap and gown and got out of the car.

"You didn't try it on?" Quinn asked, noting the packing.

"No." Puck lied. The truth was he had tried it on quite a few times since he received it only two days prior.

"Come on." Quinn said. "I think Tina and Brittany mentioned something about ironing the gowns."

Puck nodded as he and Quinn started heading inside.

"So is your mom coming to this?" Puck wondered.

"Yeah, she took the day off of work." Quinn answered. "And she won't stop telling everyone about her Ivy League girl."

"She's proud of you." Puck noted. "I am, too. You've been through so much."

"We both have." Quinn agreed. "And I'm proud of you. I told my mom she has to cheer extra loud for you today since your mom isn't coming."

"Okay." Puck laughed lightly as he and Quinn entered the choir room.

-

"Much better!" Tina exclaimed, eyeing Puck's wrinkle-less gown as Finn zipped it up for him while Quinn fixed his tassel.

"Aww, our little Puck is all grown up." Santana teased, pinching his cheek.

Puck swatted Santana's hand away and rolled his eyes, trying to mask his smile.

"We should go line up." Rachel noted. "The ceremony is starting soon."

"Well, then we should go take our seats." Blaine said, squeezing Kurt's hand as he looked at all the seniors. "Break a leg everybody."

"See you out there." Sam added before he and the rest of the other underclassmen left the choir room to take their seats in the auditorium.

"Let's go." Mercedes smiled, leading the way.

Puck was the last one, but Finn and Santana lingered behind. He looked at them. "What?"

"We're proud of you." Santana told Puck.

"I always knew you had it in you, but I'm really glad the three of us are graduating together."
Finn said.

"Yeah, we've been friends for a long time now, huh?" Puck noted.

Finn nodded. "Yeah, and Santana and I were thinking the three of us should celebrate."

"One last time before L.A. and college." Santana smirked.

"Sounds good." Puck smiled as Quinn returned.

"I hope I'm not interrupting." Quinn said. "They want you guys to start the song."

"Okay." Finn nodded, slapping Puck on the back as he walked out. Santana followed.

Quinn looked at Puck and took a deep breath. "You know, I never thought I'd finish high school or go to college after I got pregnant."

"I always knew you would." Puck smiled, taking Quinn's hand as he looked at her.

Quinn smiled as she interlaced their fingers and looked at Puck. "Will you promise me something?"

"Anything." Puck nodded.

"Promise me that when we leave here, we'll stay in touch." Quinn requested. "We've been through so much, and I wanna make sure we stay in each other's lives."

"Yeah, me, too." Puck said. "Let's go graduate, Q."

-

"Noah Puckerman!"

As Quinn had promised, there were extra loud cheers from the audience.

Puck took a deep breath as he walked across the stage to get his diploma. He paused in front of Miss Pillsbury and smiled, mouthing a thank you as he took his diploma and walked back towards Finn.

Quinn stood beside Puck, fixing his tassel as it swung in his face while he sang with Finn. He smiled and winked at her as the ceremony continued.

After all the names had been called, the graduates threw their caps into the air and hugged and congratulated each other.

Puck hugged Santana, gently scooping her off the ground while she rolled her eyes and laughed until he put her down. He turned to Quinn, but found she had disappeared.

"You know, things will never be the same again." Santana noted.

"Yeah." Finn agreed. "Next time we're all back here, it'll be different."

"You guys are killing the mood." Puck shook his head, excusing himself to find Quinn.

Puck left the auditorium and walked through the lobby, weaving in and out of the crowds until he found Quinn. He walked over to her and gently put his hand on her back.

"I was looking for you."

"I wanted to say hi to our guests." Quinn said.

Puck turned and looked at Quinn's mom, who was standing beside his mom and sister.

"What are you doing here?" Puck wondered.

"Quinn invited us." Ruth answered. "I didn't know you were graduating today."

"Yeah, it's not that big a deal." Puck shrugged, despite feeling proud.

"It is, Noah." Sarah nodded as she hugged her brother. "Congratulations."

"Thanks, Sarah." Puck smiled, hugging his sister. He looked at Quinn. "Thank you."
