"I thought you said Finn was coming today." Judy stated, returning to the living room.
"Yeah, he texted me earlier. He ended up doing something with Kurt." Quinn explained.
"Good, it'll give us time to catch up." Judy noted.
"To catch up?" Quinn repeated.
"Now that Beth's asleep and we're alone." Judy nodded.
"We talk on the phone all the time." Quinn reminded Judy.
"About New York and work." Judy stated. "Not about Finn or Beth or-"
"Don't say Noah." Quinn cut Judy off.
Judy raised her eyebrow, obviously intrigued. "She looks just like him."
"Yeah, everyone keeps saying that." Quinn nodded.
"It would be nice for you to have your family, together, wouldn't it?" Judy asked.
"Not when it isn't what either of us want." Quinn shook her head. "Things are good the way they are. Noah gets to live his rockstar life and I get to start settling down with Finn. And I love Finn."
Judy nodded slowly, not fully believing Quinn.
"I'm really happy with him, Mom." Quinn went on. "We've been talking about our future and what we want together, and we want the same things."
"Which includes what?" Judy questioned Quinn.
"Marriage." Quinn answered. "Children. Honestly, after everything happened with Dad and with Noah and Finn, I thought I swore off getting married and having another kid or two, but I want that."
"And Finn wants that, too?" Judy wondered.
"Yes." Quinn nodded.
"What about Noah?" Judy asked.
"We haven't talked about it." Quinn answered.
Judy looked at Quinn. "If you knew he wanted the same things as you, would you be with him or Finn?"
"I would still be with Finn because I'm in love with him." Quinn told Judy. "And I know for a fact that Noah doesn't want to settle down with a wife and kids."
"Maybe he would if that wife was you." Judy pointed out. "He's always been different around you, Quinny."
"We tried to work it out four years ago and we couldn't." Quinn reminded Judy. "So instead of risking things becoming worse, we moved on."
Judy nodded. "But don't you think it'd be better for your family to be together? Even if that meant you being a little less happy?"
Quinn bit her lip and looked at her mother.
