Moving (Fuinn/Puck/Beth)

"Hey, I'm gonna go over to Puck's." Quinn told Finn. "Before Beth gets out of school."

"Why are you going to Puck's if Beth's not there?" Finn wondered.

"To talk about him moving to L.A." Quinn said, raising her eyebrow. "Is that okay with you?"

"Yeah, of course." Finn nodded. "Want me to pick Beth up?"

"He and I can pick her up." Quinn responded. "But thanks."

"I'll see you later then." Finn said. "Let me know if you need me."

"I love you." Quinn replied as she lightly kissed Finn. "See you later."

Quinn walked out of the apartment, closing the door behind her. She took a deep breath as she headed to Puck's.

When Quinn got to Puck's, she raised her fist to knock, but before she could, the door swung open, causing Quinn to jump.

"Sorry." Puck apologized. "I didn't know you were out here."

"Yeah, I wanted to talk to you." Quinn said.

"Okay." Puck nodded. "I was just gonna go pick up Beth. Do you wanna come with me?"

Quinn nodded back as Puck closed his apartment door. The pair left Puck's building and started heading to Beth's school.

"So..." Puck began. "You came to talk about Beth leaving New York, right?"

"Yeah, but I'm not here to fight." Quinn promised.

Puck looked at Quinn.

"Finn told me if I didn't want her going, I should try to get full custody of her." Quinn stated.

"Finn said that?" Puck asked.

Quinn nodded slowly. "I'm not gonna do that. To you or to her."

"Well, good. It'd be pretty fucked up considering how many free passes we've both given each other over the years." Puck pointed out.

"I know." Quinn said. "And I wanna talk to Beth about this today, which is why I'm here. It's just... How is this all gonna work? If she goes with you."

"Well, you can come visit whenever you want. The house is big enough." Puck noted.

"I'm serious, Noah." Quinn replied. "Because I have a feeling she's gonna choose to go."

"If she wants to come with me, you and I will pick her school together." Puck explained. "She'll go to school there and she'll come here on vacations and breaks, and we can split the summer. Or you can come to L.A. for the summer."

"New York is hot in the summer." Quinn stated. "I can't imagine what L.A. is like."

"The house has a pool." Puck shrugged. "And we'll have A/C."

Quinn took a deep breath.

"Here." Puck said, handing Quinn his phone as they arrived at Beth's school. "Look at the pictures of the house while we wait for her class."

"I'm sure the house is great, Noah." Quinn replied as she swiped through his phone. "Wow, actually, it's beautiful."

"We'll have space for you to visit." Puck promised. "You'll have your own room."

"Really?" Quinn asked, looking at Puck.

"Of course." Puck smiled as Quinn gave him back his phone. "Anyone who has a baby with me deserves their own room."

"Yeah, speaking of that, we're gonna need to establish some rules with you and L.A. women around our daughter." Quinn told Puck.

"I'm not gonna bring anyone around until or unless it's serious." Puck promised. "And I'm not gonna do anything when Beth's home - no drinking and no sex."

"And no smoking?" Quinn wondered.

"Cigarettes never killed anyone." Puck shrugged.

Quinn raised her eyebrow.

"I won't smoke in the house and I won't turn into an ashtray around Beth." Puck said.

"Okay." Quinn said with a nod of approval.

"Are you okay with this?" Puck questioned Quinn.

"That's enough rules. I know you'll take good care of her. You always do." Quinn nodded.

"No, I mean are you okay with her leaving?" Puck clarified.

"If it's what she wants."
