"Sir, are you okay? Can I get you anything?"

"I'm fine." Puck muttered as he continued shaking his leg nervously and digging his nails into his seat. He closed his eyes and tried to focus on his breathing to try to relax.

The plane hit turbulence, and Puck's jaw clenched with every movement. He hated flying.

"Sir."

Puck opened his eyes and looked at the flight attendant in front of him.

"Can I join you?"

Puck nodded slowly.

The woman sat down beside Puck, putting a water bottle on the tray in front of him. "I'm Jane."

"Noah." Puck muttered.

"What are you doing in New York?" Jane wondered.

"Flying home to my wife and daughter." Puck answered.

"How old is your daughter?" Jane asked.

"She'll be eight in June." Puck responded.

"What were you doing in L.A.?" Jane questioned Puck.

"I had a wedding." Puck answered. "My wife's in her third trimester so she couldn't come with me and we decided our daughter should stay with her."

"Congratulations." Jane smiled.

"Thanks." Puck said, squeezing his eyes shut as the plane jerked around. He felt a comforting hand over his and opened his eyes, half-expecting Quinn there.

"It's okay." Jane promised. "It's just turbulence."

"I'm not usually this bad." Puck stated.

"You're doing great." Jane said.

Before Puck could say anything, he heard the intercom.

"Good evening, everybody. This is your pilot speaking. Please fasten your seatbelts and brace yourself for landing."

"Landing?" Puck repeated, looking out the window. "We're not in New York yet."

"Excuse me." Jane nodded as she got up to go find out what was going on.

Puck closed his eyes and gripped the seat tightly as the plane descended the sky.

Puck headed to baggage claim and checked his phone while he waited. He saw three missed calls from Quinn so he called her back.

"Noah, thank god." Quinn said. "I saw there was something wrong with your plane. Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Puck promised. "I'm really never flying again now, but I'm fine."

"I'm sorry I couldn't be there." Quinn told Puck. "But I'm glad you're gonna be okay."

"Yeah." Puck agreed.

"Where are you?" Quinn wondered.

"Philly." Puck answered. "After I get my bag, I'm gonna rent a car and drive home. I'll see you in a few hours."

"Be safe." Quinn told Puck. "I can't wait to see you. I love you."

"I love you, too."

-

When Puck got home, he let himself into the apartment and found Quinn on the couch.

"Noah." Quinn said softly as she went to get up.

"Stay there, I'm coming." Puck told her as he closed the apartment door and left his bag before walking over to Quinn. He kissed her lightly and hugged her.

"Are you okay?" Quinn asked, rubbing Puck's back. "How was the wedding?"

"Fun." Puck answered as he and Quinn parted.

Quinn made room on the couch and Puck joined her.

"B's asleep?" Puck asked.

Quinn nodded. "She tried to stay up to see you, but I told her it was okay to go to bed if she was tired."

Puck nodded back.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Quinn offered. "I know you must be exhausted."

"I thought I was gonna die." Puck stated. "When they said it was an emergency landing, I thought we were gonna crash."

Quinn opened her mouth to speak, but Puck continued.

"I mean, I know I'm not the greatest when it comes to flying, but I knew there was something wrong with the plane."

"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you." Quinn apologized as she squeezed Puck's hand. "But I'm here now. You should try to get some rest if you can."

Puck shook his head as he got up. "I need to unpack and shower."

"I'll unpack for you." Quinn offered.

"Q." Puck sighed.

"Go shower." Quinn commanded. "And then come to bed."

"Okay." Puck gave in.

"Wait, help me up first." Quinn requested.

Puck smiled as he helped Quinn up.

Quinn smiled back and kissed Puck's cheek. "Go shower."

-

"Hey." Puck said as he entered the bedroom in his boxers.

"Perfect timing." Quinn replied. "I just finished unpacking your bag."

"Thanks." Puck nodded. "Ready for bed?"

"Yeah." Quinn nodded back.

Puck helped Quinn up off the floor. "You didn't have to do that for me."

"I know." Quinn said. "Come on, let's go to bed."

The pair climbed into bed, curling up under the covers.

Quinn wrapped her arms around Puck's neck and looked at him. "I got you."
