Quinn knocked on Puck's apartment door.
No answer.
"Noah, it's me." Quinn called as she continued knocking. "Open the door."
Puck still didn't answer.
Quinn sighed as she took out her key to Puck's apartment and let herself in, closing the door behind her. She was immediately greeted by the smell of cigarettes.
"Noah." Quinn said as she looked at Puck, who was laying on the couch with his sling on. "Why didn't you answer the door?"
"I'm busy." Puck muttered.
"I can see that." Quinn noted as she started cleaning up the empty beer and liquor bottles that were littered on Puck's table and floor.
"You don't have to do that." Puck told Quinn as he sat up on the couch.
"I know." Quinn stated as she threw the bottles in the garbage and joined Puck on the couch.
"Did Santana send you over here?" Puck asked.
Quinn shook her head. "No."
"Jake?" Puck guessed.
"No." Quinn said. "I'm here because I wanted to see you."
"Why?" Puck wondered.
"I'm worried about you." Quinn stated. "We all are honestly."
"Well, I'm fine." Puck said. "So I'm sorry you wasted a trip over here."
"How's your shoulder?" Quinn asked. "Are you going to physical therapy?"
"Yeah." Puck answered. "A few times a week."
Quinn nodded slowly.
"Why is everyone so worried?" Puck questioned Quinn.
"You've been staying home a lot." Quinn stated. "And you've been drinking a lot."
"I always drink a lot." Puck reminded Quinn with a shrug. "And I don't like crowds."
"You're drunk at 1 pm on a Wednesday afternoon." Quinn pointed out. "And I know that you're still taking those painkillers even though your doctor said you don't need to anymore."
Puck looked at Quinn.
"I'm not here to judge you." Quinn clarified. "I wanna help you because I care about you."
"I don't-"
"Noah, please." Quinn said softly. "Just tell me the truth. What's really going on?"
"I don't know, Quinn." Puck sighed.
Quinn nodded slowly.
"When I first got hurt, I didn't wanna take the painkillers so instead, I was drinking to numb my shoulder." Puck explained. "And alcohol has never really been an issue for me. I've always been able to handle it."
"Can you still handle it?" Quinn asked.
"I tried, but... I can't this time." Puck admitted as he looked at Quinn.
"So let us help you." Quinn suggested.
Puck shook his head. "I'm the one who let this happen, so I'm the one who has to deal with it. I don't wanna drag everyone into this."
"Okay, then let me help." Quinn said. "I'll be your support system so you don't have to keep everything bottled up, and I'll hold you accountable."
"This isn't gonna be fun or pretty, Quinn." Puck warned her. "If I were you-"
"You would do the same for me."
