Whoa! Totally cut off in the middle of a fight scene, heheh, sorry not sorry. Anyways, read on!
"Never let down your guard, Jaeg-" Jean was cut off as Eren kicked his knee from behind. How he managed it, he didn't even know for himself. Jean fell forward in a bow like position and Eren pushed him over onto his side.
"Oh! Horse down!" Connie yelled, lifting his wand and shooting confetti into the air.
"It's a partyyyy!" A girl yelled and began jumping around, getting a few people to join her as Jean stood back up.
"What in the blazes is going on here!?" A voice boomed, making everyone part like the red sea. There stood Mr. Pixis in his finest angry I'm-going-to-kill-everyone-here face. Then, his eyes landed on Connie and narrowed into angry slits.
"Springer." Mr. Pixis sneered.
"Pixis." Connie sneered right back. They continued their sneer-off until Pixis lunged at Connie.
"Try again, Pringles Man!" Connie screamed, taking off running, Mr. Pixis in tow. There was an awkward silence that settled into the air until the Principal walked in, glaring at Eren an Jean.
"Jaeger, Kirstien, to my office." The man ordered stiffly. Eren and Jean both looked at each other before back to the man. Straightening themselves out, they followed him inside and to his office.
"Put some pants on and change back." He said, thrusting a pair of light grey sweat pants at Jean. Jean caught them, walked into a bathroom connected to the large office and shut the door. Not more than a few minutes later, he came out with the pants on.
"I'll let you off with a warning this time, but any more of this, and it'll be suspension and extra homework." The man said, leaning over. "Jean, you're free to leave. Jaeger, we need to talk." Jean stood up and exited the room, giving a small curious look to Eren before finally leaving.
Once the door was shut, the principal seemed to loosen up and some of his professional aura faded away.
"Eren, how are you feeling?" He asked.
"Good." Eren replied, giving the man a small smile.
"That's good to hear." The man gave a small nod in return. They settled into an awkward silence until the man cleared his throat and spoke up once more.
"Eren," The man started, shaking Eren from his empty mind. "It seems we've run out of empty dorms so we're going to have to move you to the empty dorms at the edge of the campus." He explained.
"I would just have them move into the dorms with you, but..." The man trailed off as if not to offend the boy in front of him.
"No, it's fine. I understand. I'll go pack up." Eren said, standing up. The man simply nodded as Eren moved to leave the room.
"But Eren," The man said, making Eren freeze. "You can't let any of the other students in those dorms. It's not too safe for them." He explained.
And it's safe for me? Eren almost said that, but bit his tongue. He simply nodded and walked out of the office. Walking out of the building and to the dorm building he had to himself, he unlocked the door with his keys and went inside then to his room.
He packed up his little belongings and met up with a teacher outside his dorm.
"Come on, I'll show you the way." She said with a small smile. Eren nodded, carrying his small box as she led him across the campus. It was far off. Like, really far off. The campus grounds were huge as is and the building was right at the tree line.
"I'll have to take the other keys, and here is the key to this building." She said, handing him a single, older fashioned key. He handed her the new keys, taking the old one from her and walked up, unlocking the door to the building.
"I suggest you take today to get settled in." She said, then turned on her heel and left. He pushed the door open, a musky smell coating his nose as he stepped into the building. Hardwood floors, large windows and dust. Everywhere. He glanced around the small room, seeing a staircase leading up and a hallway. He looked at a wall, seeing a framed picture of a map hanging on the wooden wall above a bench and next to a closet.
He walked up, dusting the dust off the glass and squinting at the tiny writing on the map. "Rooms, kitchen, laundry room, living room, basement, attic, dining room bathrooms..." Eren muttered under his breath as he read. The hallway would lead to the kitchen, dining room, laundry room, a bathroom, living room and the basement. The stairs would lead to the rooms, a few more bathrooms and the attic.
He looked up the untrustworthy looking stairs, took a deep breath then began climbing them. They creaked under his weight, seeming to bend slightly, so he kept a grip on the handrail which didn't provide much assurance. Once he finally got up the stairs, he released out a breath he didn't know he had been holding. Looking down the long hallway, he saw many doors.
He walked to the first door, opening it and looking around the room. A twin sized bed sat against one wall with a desk next to it. Across the room was a door to a closet and another door Eren assumed to be a bathroom. Eren walked in and placed his box on the bed before walking out and deciding to explore the rest of the rooms.
They were all exactly the same, the bathrooms being simple and not holding anything more than what they needed. He walked down the hall, passing the room he claimed as his and down the creaking stairs once more.
When he reached the bottom, he turned and walked down the hallway. When he reached the end, he looked to his left and saw the living room. A simple couch, coffee table, a t.v stand which was lacking a t.v, a few large windows and a bookshelf full of old, dusty books. He walked a bit further down the hall and found the kitchen. Everything he would need was there, fridge, oven, microwave, cabinets, two sinks, a counter and enough space.
He left the kitchen and looked into the dining room which was next door, seeing a large table with chairs surrounding it, a tall shelf in one corner. He looked in the laundry room, finding it completely empty.
"Of course it's empty." Eren sighed, leaving the room and looking in the bathroom. It was larger than the rest, having a larger shower, bigger wink with bigger cabinets and just more space all around. He tried to open the door to the basement, but found it was locked.
Deciding to ignore it, he left back to the living room to check out the books. When he reached the books, he grabbed a random one and pulled it off the shelf. He blew the dust off of it, making said dust fly everywhere in the room. Squinting his eyes to make sure nothing got in his eyes, he read the title.
'Rare Creatures Of Rose Academy' It read in bold. Setting the hardcover book back on the shelf and grabbing a blue hardcover, he pulled it out, blew away and the dust and read it. 'Experiments 104-232' Eren's eyebrows furrowed as he set the book back. The next couple he grabbed were like the blue book, all saying something about experiments. Then, after a while, he grabbed the last book. It was black leather and sealed off with a whole lot of string. He grabbed the book, blowing away the dust but didn't find a title. Looking all over the book, he never found a title until something caught his eye. Down on the very bottom corner of the book cover were some small words. He squinted, bringing the book closer to his face and was shocked at the words he found.
