Chapter 19

Heyyo! How are you guys feeling? Good? Tired? Ready for school to end? Yeah, me too. *Sigh* anyways! Read on!!

"Can we go yet?" Jean whispered, nudging Marco's leg with the heel of his palm.

"No! Calm your ponies and wait a few more minutes." Eren hissed. They were crouched under a table in the library. "They're going to close the doors soon and we'll slip out right before they do. Then, we'll make a break for the woods." Eren explained. Suddenly, Connie popped up next to him, fully dressed out like he was going into war or something.

"Alright, delta, foxtrot, other military words! Let's do this, make it a clean kill." Connie said in a low voice, pulling a dagger out of his pocket.

"Connie! What the heck!?" Marco yelled, jumping and hitting his head on the table. He groaned in pain, clutching his head.

"Oh my God! Marco!" Jean cried, hugging Marco and managing to somehow kick Eren in the gut. Eren groaned, then reached back and slapped Jean, provoking the horse boy. "Oh it's on, Jaeger!" Jean growled. Jean lunged at Eren and they began wrestling, rolling out from under the table and scaring the jeebers out of the person who was closing the library.

"What's going on here!?" The girl squeaked, holding the keys with a shaky hand. Jean and Eren froze, looking up at her as slowly all of their friends crawled out from under the table. "How did you all fit under there?" She questioned.

"RUN!!" Connie screeched. With inhuman speed, they all ran out from the library, leaving the girl wondering what had happened. They ran across the field and to the tree line where they hunched over, hands on their knees and panted to catch their breath.

"Why did you have a knife!?" Marco cried to Connie who was no longer holding the dagger.

"Because if we were going to do something, we were going to do it cooly." Connie stated, crossing his arms.

"Is that even a word?" Erwin asked, raising a huge eyebrow. Connie only shrugged before turning his gaze towards the eerie looking trees.

"So, we're going in there?" Connie asked, seeming nervous. Eren only nodded, grabbing the book that Armin was holding.

"Yep. We're just going to test something and we'll be back before morning." Eren gave a determined nod. With that, they set out into the woods. It was dark and getting colder by the minute. The moon cast eerie shadows onto the ground, using the creaking tree limbs above. Nocturnal animals of the mythical world scurried around in the shadows while everyone stuck close together.

"You sure have been out here quite a ways." Petra commented. Eren only nodded, looking down at the book. As they walked into unknown territory, Eren watched as the map on the page seemed to expand, showing everything he could see now. Still looking down at the map, he watched as a little house appeared on the paper.

"Hey, Armin, come look at this." Eren called. Armin walked over and looked at the paper, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Eren, I think we should turn back now before this turns into something out of a horror movie." Petra said, putting her hand on Eren's shoulder.

"Go to the house, my boy. I'm waiting for you." Suddenly, Grisha's voice was in his head. Eren froze in his tracks upon hearing Grisha."Eren?" Mikasa asked, walking up to Eren and putting her hand on his other shoulder.

"Come on, Eren. I'm waiting for you. Come on, my boy. We don't have much time." Grisha's voice practically purred in his head. He felt a sickening churning in his gut and he suddenly wanted Astro here with him, but Astro was back sleeping in his dorm. Why didn't he want to go forward and see Grisha? He's just up there.

"Yeah. Let's go back, I've got what I wanted." Eren nodded. They all turned back and walked out of the woods, a horrible feeling sticking in Eren's stomach. He didn't know what it was, but it was nothing close to good.

What is that house? Why doesn't Eren want to go and find his father? Well, I guess you'll have to wait a while! (Early update? Idk, maybe) anyways, much Ereri love to you all and I love you guys!!!
