Nothing But A Freak (An Ereri FanFic)

Chapter 31

Sorry I'm late! It's been a bad week for me and I had to go to counseling for my anxiety but here I am! Anyways, read on!

"Are you ready?" Levi asked as they stood on the roof of the dormitory. Eren gulped, wiping his sweaty palms on his jeans and nodding.

"I guess. But what if I can't do it?" Eren asked, looking at Levi with worried eyes.

"Then I'll catch you." Levi assured. He tilted Eren's chin up, pressing a chaste kiss to his lips. Eren smiled slightly at the loving action, then he turned back towards the edge.

"Here goes nothing." He took a deep breath, then jumped. His stomach went into his throat and dropped to his feet at the same time as he began falling too fast for his liking.

"Spread your wings!" Levi called from the roof top. Eren did as he said, whipping out his wings. They jerked painfully upwards as the wind filled them, catching him. "Flap! Fly up!" Levi ordered. Eren did as he was told, flapping his wings and getting used to the way he had to move his muscles. He flew up and up until he swore he could touch the sky.

"I'm doing it! Levi! I'm flying!!" Eren yelled, giddy as could be. Levi jumped off the roof and flew up to him, staying a good ways away so they don't hit wings.

"You're doing it, you're flying." Levi nodded. Eren grinned, feeling almost invincible. Eren looked over his back, seeing one black wing and one white wing. One demon wing, one angel wing. It was a strange thing how all his friends, and the whole school actually, just accepted him for being a half life. Later research showed that he's not a freak, he's just rare. That it had happened, not too long ago actually, and that it does happen. Just not too often.

"Come on. I've got something I need to show you." Levi said. Eren nodded, following as Levi flew down to the field hidden in the trees.

"Wait! How do you land!?" Eren cried. Before Levi had a chance to answer, he crashed into Levi. They fell, rolling across the ground for a few meters before finally rolling to a stop. "Sorry." Eren giggled from his place under Levi. Levi only rolled his eyes with a small smile.

"Honestly, I have no idea how to go about this, so here goes nothing. Eren, I love you. With all my heart and more. I can honestly say that I want to spend eternity with you. I want to wake up each morning to you, your crazy bed head and your morning kisses. I want to be able to make breakfast for you, go to work and come home to you. I want to do everything with you. You are my everything. Ignoring how many times this line is used. Will you make me the happiest man in Maria and marry me?" Levi asked, pulling a little black box out of his back pocket. He opened it, showing a silver ring.

Eren's eyes widened, then began to water. He covered his mouth to hold back a sob, nodding his head wildly and throwing an arm around Levi. Levi hugged him back, pulling his hand off his mouth and connected their lips in a life changing kiss.

They got married, Eren in a white suit and Levi in a black suit. They had an after party, which Hanji and Connie went crazy in. Sasha smashed her face into the cake, then tried to eat everything else that was food and in her eye sight. Connie almost started another tornado when he tried to show Hanji his wind bending 'skills' but luckily Jean and Marco stopped him. Astro had the time of his life, playing tag with Pepsi, Fally and Regionale while Robin scared the living daylights out of Jean more than once.

They went on to get a small house in Trost, a nearby city for all the mythical creatures, and settled in. Levi went on to work in a big business and Eren stayed a home, almost seeming to be a wife. His nightmares went away with time and soon all their friends moved to Trost. On the same road as them too. Eren and Levi moved to adopt a little girl and boy, Isabel and Farlan. Isabel was a witch, which Hanji took a liking to and dosed her in crazy, and Farlan was a shifter, who shifted into a ferret.

Jazz and Pixis were sure to stop by on the holidays, spoiling Isabel and Farlan rotten and it was almost like they were the rich grandparents everyone always wanted. And in the end, Levi got what he wanted. He got to wake up every morning to Eren's insane bed head, got to make breakfast and serve it to his husband and children, got to go to work and come back, being greeted by his husband and children who had just gotten out of school then he got to go to bed with the love of his life. Then have his two children join them in the middle of the night whining about nightmares. All in all, it was the life he wanted and loved. Even when Hanji came over at six in the morning, squealing about God knows what.

So in the end, sweet nothings were whispered into ears with soft, loving tones. Mornings were spent waking up to bed heads, bad morning breath and kids jumping on bed. Later mornings spent taking said kids to school, then going to work. Afternoons were spent coming home, eating lunch and going out to play with friends and tease old men about their days being a princess. Evenings were spent at the dinner table, talking about their days and pretending to be tall while stabbing broccoli. Nights were spent with warm beds with warm wings and soft snores from a certain dog.

Time went on and on, fate finally giving Eren what he needed. Giving Eren a family.
