Chapter 1

2022

I am standing here across the building of my sister's apartment. I called her so many times but she did not answer so I just decided to come over and surprise her. It's her birthday today I wanted to celebrate it with as I got busy these days with work.

I entered the building and saw the receptionist there.

Hi! I'm here to visit my sister." I smiled at her brightly and I wonder why her face is so shocked.

I asked her, "Is there any problem Miss?"

She look at me and smile, "No Miss, you may come in, 2nd floor room 204"

I smiled at her "Thank you, it's her birthday today I just want to surprise her."

She replied, "Oh! Happy Birthday to your sister then"

Then I come to the lift. But I do wonder there's something suspicious with the way she said those greeting. Hmmmm maybe I'm just tired.

I reached 2nd floor and look for her room. I reached at her door. I tried to call her but again no answer. So I tap the doorbell. It seem she's not here? If she doesn't the receptionist will tell me. So I tried to tap again the doorbell.

And after sometime I heard someone at the back of the door. So I prepared myself to surprise her.

The door is about to open so I exclaimed

"Happy Birthday, Surp..."

I didn't finished what I'm about to say because instead my sister I saw a man whom I never knew.

Then I look at the room number and wonder, the receptionist said its 204 did I not here correctly?

I look at the guy who's standing actually half naked.

So I turn my face at side, "I'm sorry, do I know you?"

The man chuckled and I got irritated. I'm about to slap her when he said,

"I'm sorry Miss but I guessed you're in the wrong room."

I'm about to look at him and speak to him but suddenly I heard someone,

"Babe who is it?"

Then there she is my sister wearing a big size shirt well probably she's not wearing underneath.

My eyes got widened and so her eyes too.

"Cesca? What are you doing here?"

And the guy look at me and my sister,

"Oh! That's why she's familiar, you look same, and so she's your sister Babe?"

He look at my sister and look at me again,

"I'm sorry, I'm your sister's boyfriend, Benedict. Sorry for being rude, you may come in"

And I look at him and said, "Thank you and you may get yourself a dress, please."

He got shock and realized he's just wearing a short. "I'm sorry. I'll comeback in a minute."

Then he go to my sister's bedroom or maybe their bedroom. And I look at my sister that I think still in shocked to see me.

"Don't you want to give your sister a hug? A welcome hug maybe?

Then she come at me and hug, "Oh! I'm sorry Cesca, it's just that I didn't know you'll come today.
