Chapter 9

The music stop and we separate our body from each other and no one bothered to look at each other.

We just focus ourselves with what Benedict has to say to all of us.

"Hi everyone! I'm happy that all of my friends, family and my special someone came here to celebrate my special day with me. I want you to know that I am grateful for this moment. Cheers!"

"Cheers!" Everyone.

"As you all know my graduation will be 4 months from now. And I'm always be grateful to our parents who continue to support us no matter what happened. I love you mom and dad."

"What about me Bro?" Sven shout pretending that he's hurt and I look at him laughing and he look at me too and smiled at me. My heart skip a beat that I drink again 1 more glass of wine. I feel like my throat had dried already. That's why after 1 glass I drink again.

Everyone laughed when Sven complained. "Bro I'm still not finished yet" and he smiled.

"To my one and only brother who always support me too. I love you bro with all my heart. My friends Steven and Carl thank you for both of you. Two of you are not just a friend but a brothers to us. To Manang I can't imagine my childhood without you. And for that I love you so much. And to all our people here in our home. Lastly but not the least of course." He look at the direction where my sister standing.

"Babe can you please come here beside me."

Steven, Carl, Manang and their parents are smiling as brightly as they assisted Hestia going to where Benedict is. I saw Sven frowning but it changed when Hestia pass by at him and he smiled at my sister.

My sister's face is so shy and wondering.

I do have a feeling what will happened and I can't help but to be nervous at the same time to be happy too.

Hestia reached where Benedict is and Ben kissed her. Staring at her with so much love and His eyes were in tears.

"Throughout my journey beside my parents, brother and friends. You are my number one supporter. Every steps you were there to cheer me up. You were my strength. You stand by me. And I am always be thankful that God made me meet you. And I also thank your sister," He look at my direction.

I smiled at him and nod.

"And your parents wherever they are. I know there will be more challenges we have to face to the near future especially after our graduation. But I want you to know that I want it to face those things with you." He stop and he bend on one knee in front o my sister.

"Will you marry me Hestia Brianne Alvarez?"

I covered my mouth. As I expected.

Everyone exclaimed and all faces are smiling. I was in tear. I saw Sven's eyes with happiness but at the same time sadness.

Why? I asked myself.

My sister nodded she can't say a word as she is crying.

"Yes Babe! Yes!" She asked Benedict to stand up. And Ben stood up while wearing the ring on her finger.

"I love you."

"I love you more Babe, you make me the happiest guy on earth!" and he kissed my sister.

"Mom Dad we're engaged!"

Mr and Mrs. Somer came to them and greet them.

"Congratulations for both of you. Welcome to the family Hestia." Mrs. Somer said and hugged my sister.

"Congrats my little boy!" Mr. Somer hugged Benedict.

I hugged my sister so tight. "Congrats, though for me it's too early but I'm really happy for you Hest. Really I am."

"I know Ate. I love you. And I'm always be thankful that you're my sister. I promise even if I got married everything that you've done to me will not be worthless."

"I know Hest. I know" I just hugged her. I saw Sven came to Benedict and hug him.

"Congrats Bro. I'm happy for you."

"You'll be my best man Bro."

Then Steven and Carl came at them too. "Wait how about us?" Steven said.

"Oh come on. All of you will be there and will be my best guys!" Everyone laughed.

Mr. Somer asked, "When do you plan to get married then?"

"Hestia and I will talk about it. But I was hoping it would be 1 after our graduation. If that would be fine with you and Francesca too."

I look at them. "That would be fine with me as long as Hestia agreed on it."

My sister nodded and hug me again. "Thank you!" She kissed my cheek.

"So it's settled then. After graduation will prepare for the wedding. Ohhh I love this moment. I'm going to have daughter, I mean daughters." Mrs. Somer look at me and held my hand.

"Because not just Hestia were welcome here. It includes you Francesca. You're also a family starting from now."

I smiled at her. "Thank you Auntie." Everyone is happy as of this moment. But I saw Sven. He's smiling but his eyes were in a deep thought.
