The snow-storm and the dark sky were not helping with the moods and situations. The four of them stared back at the Yaksh guarding the entrance of the cave. They didn't know what will happen if they do not give him a correct answer but they wanted to get this done peacefully and hope that no other method would be required.

'Kumari Khyati.' (Miss Khyati) The Yaksh addressed Khyati and she breathed in heavily.

'Spasht taur par eersha kya hai?' (What actually is envy?) the first question and the four of them knew that it isn't as simple as he is presenting it.

He is guarding Vayu Dev's prison on Samrat's orders and he has orders from Samrat to bring Umika. He will definitely not accept just definitions as answers. This has to be a lot deeper than they think.

Khyati began to think. What is envy? Why do we envy others?............Most importantly what actually causes envious feelings?

Khyati had her answer but she was hesitant. She has heard of Devi Saraswati, the supreme Goddess of knowledge and speech. She remembered her and answered.

'Eersha spasht taur par hriday ka shok hai, Him-Yaksh.' (Envy is actually the grief of heart Him Yaksh) Khyati said and waited along with the other three, with her breath hitched, for him to say something.

When he didn't say anything Khyati continued to explain her answer. 'Eersha tb hoti hai jb hum kisi ke paas ek uttam gunn yaan koi vastu dekhte hain aur hume lgne lagta hai ki humare paas uski kami hai. Apne gunnon aur apni vastuon pr garv krne ke bajaye humara hriday unn gunnon aur vaston ke aabhav ka dukh manane lgta hai. Ussi dukh ko hum eersha kehte hain.........aur issi liye eersha krne se keval eersha krne wale ka hi ahit hota hai.' (We become jealous of someone when we see someone with a nice quality or thing and we start thinking that we lack the same. Instead of taking pride in the qualities and things that we possess, our heart starts aching over those which we don't have. That grief is envy..............and that's by envy affects the envious person badly.)
