Mortals had a very different idea what an Asur is, before the original ones actually decided to show up. Their imagination had Asuras as the savage fools who were completely driven by evilness and rage, who have no rules of life.
And this imagination was all true to describe Vrishbhan, the only difference being that he was not at all a fool. He was completely on the other polarity of it. If we talk about being cunning........after her father, Vrishbhan was the most cunning member of Umika's clan.
He was not just an Asur. He was a sorcerer. A powerful one. A master of black magic.
No doubt Maharaj Vrishketu sent him alone without any soldiers to get all of them. Who knows, he can probably make an army of his, himself with his black magic?
Vrishbhan took slow steps towards them and out of instinct Umika took a step back but Mrityunjay immediately held her at her place by her arm, not liking that she fears anybody. His hand slipped down her slender arm and gave her hand a warm embrace by holding it.
Vrishbhan smirked seeing their united hands. They waited for him to attack with all the weapons he had. But all they could do was wait only because he was not showing any signs of attacking. Was he even going to attack?
Instead of holding up a weapon against them, he raised his hand and instantly Umika's necklace let go of her neck and flew toward his hand, like a magnet and metal's relation.
'Hmm.' he hummed after examining the stone of the necklace and the different colored patched of radiance coming out of it.
'Panch mukhya Aditi-Putra hain aapke paas.........ab bas Tridev aur Trideviyon kami hai aur baki devta swayam astitva mein aa jayeinge.' (You have main Sons of Aditi.......now only Tridev and Tridevis are left and other Gods will come into existence themselves) he said in a low tone.
Umika inhaled deeply and said 'Dekhiye Yuvraj......aap mere jyeshth ki Putra hain, Kushdweep ke uttaradhikari hain aur Asuron ko atti priya bhi hain.....hum aapse yudh nhi krna chahte......uchit yhi hoga ki aap humara marg chod dein.' (See Yuvraj........you are the son of my Jyeshth, the Uttaradhikari of Kushdweep and are very dear to the Asuras.....we don't want to fight against you.......it will be better if you leave our way.)
Vrishbhan smirked and then said while surprisingly tossing the necklace back to them 'Main kab kaha bua ki mai aapka marg rokunga?'
Umika frowned and then asked 'Toh aapko Jyeshth ne hume bandhi bnane ke liye nhi bheja hai?' (So Jyeshth hasn't sent you to capture us?')
'Haan bheja hai.....parantu aap toh mujhe jaanti hain na Bua?.......Mai krta vhi hoon jo mere jee mein aata hai......Aur iss samay mere jee aap logon ki sahayta krna aa rha hai.' (Yes he did......But you do know me Bua, right?.......I do whatever comes to my heart......And right now I want to help you guys) He said with his ever so evil smile.
Umika did not take even a moment and turned to all of them. 'Hume Vrishbhan par kada bhi vishwas nhi hai.' (I don't trust Vrishbhan even a bit) and they all replied with a 'me neither'.
'Parantu ek baar sunn toh lete hain ki Yuvraj kya sahayta kr skte hain........Humare paas samay kam hai.....Kisi ki bhi sahayta chlegi.' (But let us once listen to what help Yuvraj has to offer.....we don't have much time.....anybody's help would go at this moment) Said Khyati and she made sense.
'Kya sahayta kr skte hain aap?' (What can you help us with?) Umika asked him with narrow eyes.
'Mai janta hoon ki Narayan kahan mileinge.' (I know where you'll find Narayan) And that's how he did not just offered help to them.......he offered 'THE HELP' to them.
Flashback
His world was falling apart in front of his eyes and he was bound to just look and do nothing.......just look.
He did not even had time to mourn the loss of Brahma dev, Devi Saraswati, his love and all his children. As he stood there on a rock, looking at the asteroids falling, zillions of prayers ringing in his ears.........tears were constantly slipping his eyes.
He loved all of these children so much. He loved them no matter what they were, no matter what they had done and he loved them no matter if they believed in his existence or not. It was his duty during times like these to come and protect all of them. But he couldn't.......not this time.
All he could do was delivering that prophecy to Shukracharya. While he was with them only, he felt the slipping away of his Yogmaya......his sister......the divine mother.
He looked down at his arms, patches of his divine glow which can blind anybody were still there. Once he gives in his will power........he will also disappear and slip into his Yognidra.
Suddenly a pain like no other rose in his chest and he clutched at his heart. 'Mahadev' he whispered and with that more tears slipped his eyes. He knew at that moment that his beloved Mahadev had also given to the pain of separation from his love and the curse had taken over him as well.
It was time. It was time for him to slip away as well so he closed his eyes.
Right then a divine feminine voice said to him in his thoughts.
'Prabhu.........mujhe antardhyan hokar Adishakti mein punah vileen hona hoga......Mere tapp se meri gufa aapke rehne yogya bn chuki hai prabhu.......Aapse anurodh hai, kripa kr meri gufa mein virajein.' (Prabhu.....I'll have to vanish and merge into Adishakti again......I've made my cave deserving of you to live in it with my tapp......I request you, kindly settle in my cave)
It was Devi Vaishnavi. The divine manifestation of Adishakti in Kaliyug.
He faintly smiled and within one moment he was in front of the cave on the peak of Trikuta Parvat of Himalayas. Outside, Hanuman and Bhairav stood with tears in their eyes and they joined their hands in front of him.
He smiled sadly at them through his tears and whispered a 'Kalyan ho.' He went inside without looking back and the cave closed itself.
'Prabhu! Prabhu!' Hanuman and Bhairav screamed outside. Mahabali Hanuman even tried to break into the cave but he could not. It was then they both knew......the rocks outside the cave, blocking it's entrance were not ordinary rocks. They were personification of his Yognidra.......which has separated him from every particle of his universe.
Inside the cave, he drifted away .........from everyone and everything.
Flashback Ends
Something about Vrishbhan said that he was telling the truth and even if he was lying.....he was still asking them to go to Trikuta Parvat. If they don't find Narayan, they'll probably find some clue of him with the blessings of Devi Vaishnavi.
Without saying much, they started heading towards their horses. They had to leave for Aryavrath at once.
While Umika was passing her nephew he stopped her and said while looking straight in her eyes. 'Smaran rkhiyega Bua.......bhay bhi bohot sahayak hota hai.......yadi usse andar bandha na jaye aur khul ke bahar aane diya jaye.' (Always remember Bua.....fear is also very helpful......if it's not kept chained inside and is let loose.)
His eyes. They held so much depth of knowledge and Umika could almost say he was seeing some glimpse of future right now in her eyes.
For ones she wanted to ask him what was he seeing but she let go because.......her future would be good for her if it was unpredictable only.
