Umika had not even climbed half of the mountain and her limbs were already telling her to give up. But that was also not an option because giving up could mean falling down towards death. Yes she was immortal...........but no somras was an evident way she could die after severe injury.

Umika was holding onto a ridge of the cold mountain made of dark colored metamorphic rocks and her feet were also supported by the ridges.

The icy cold wind that was blowing across mountain was also adding up to the severity her situation. She was panting and her mind was stressing hard.

Umika exhaled loudly and then closed her eyes to gather some spirit. A flashback of her Gurudev, before they were leaving for Kashi, flashed in her mind.

Flashback

'Udeshya ki prapti bohot kathin hogi, Putri.' (Achieving the goal will be very difficult my child.) Gurudev told her and she nodded in agreement.

'Parantu smaran rahe........jab bhi kisi kathinai se mann vichlit ho.......toh apne gantavya ko Shiv maan lena....' (But remember.......if difficulties ever scare you.........just suppose that Shiv is your destination..) Umika frowned a little.

'Kyuki jab gantavya Shiv ho.........toh marg ki kathinaiyon se bhay kaisa?' (Because when Shiv is your destination..........then why fear difficulties of the path?) he completed with a pleasant smile on his face and his statement left a pleasant smile on her face as well.

Flashback Ends

Umika opened her eyes and looked at the dangerous climb of the mountain. A fire of passion raged in her eyes.

'Om namah Shivay!' with that, she pulled herself up.

She proceeded climbing the mountain, chanting the what she calls her greatest strength, with a new energy filled in her body and soul.

Umika's hand landed somewhere above her head and she pulled herself with all her might.

Frown came upon her face as she could not register the drastic change that just happened in the terrain. The place was all flat.

Umika climbed up the cliff completely and looked ahead at the widespread snow that glowed a little in the dark. It looked like she was on a plain terrain now. But how is that possible? Om Parvat looked so steep when they had looked at it from outside Kashi.

Dense mist was hovering over the land ahead and the whole place was giving Umika a feeling of strong magic.

Is it because of Yaksh? Is that nature spirit that powerful?

Though the vibes of the place were far away from that of evil magic...........but still Umika gulped at the thought of going to meet a powerful spirit.

Umika looked ahead at the dense mist. Immortals like her can only be killed by lack of somras or by another immortal. That Yaksh there can petty much kill her and Umika had much bigger plans rather than getting killed.
