"Alex." Evelyn throws a piece of popcorn into their mouth. "Truth or Dare?"

Alex grins at them, "Dare, obviously."

They think about it for a moment. "Okay. I dare you to give me your phone unlocked and let us look through it for five minutes."

He grabs his phone off the coffee table in front of us and hands it to them. "Password's 1369."

I laugh, "Of course it is."

He smirks and Ev unlocks the phone. "What do you say, Maddie? Photo album first or messages?"

"Oh, photos definitely."

I take a handful of the popcorn and move closer to Evelyn.

They open the recents album and the last few photos are of him and all the guys at training I assume.

The most recent one is a close up of Felix's face as Darius has him in a headlock.

Then one of Darius bench pressing one of the younger boys on the junior team –David.

Then there's a selfie of Alex, Felix, Darius, and Matt all sitting on exercise bikes blowing a kiss to the camera.

And finally, there's a few pictures of Alex and Matt in the changing rooms, shirtless and taking mirror pictures. But as they progress you see Coach Aldine walk in behind them and start shouting but they just pull him into the picture and he smacks Matt in the back of his head.

I smile at the pictures and Ev opens up the messages app.

"Let's see what we've got here shall we?" They say, "Oh, you've got your mom pinned. That's adorable, you're a proper momma's boy aren't you, Alex?"

He inhales sharply, "Don't open the chats with mom, please."

"Sure. Oh, a group chat!"

They open up the most recent group chat labelled BPA and we are severely disappointed to see that it's just the football team's group chat.

"Boring." They swipe a bit down and find another group chat labelled Idiots. "What's this one?"

He looks at the screen. "Oh, that's mine, Matt, Felix, and D's group chat."

"Why do you have them saved as idiots two, three, and four?" I ask.

He smirks, "That is a story for another day."

I look at him and shake my head. "You're so weird."

"And don't you forget it, leprechaun."

We look through his phone for another minute before he says it's been five and to hand it over.

He pockets his phone and rubs his hands together. "My turn." He rubs his chin, "Evelyn, Truth or Dare?"

"Truth."

"Have you ever cheated on an exam?"

"Yes."

His eyes nearly pop out of his head. "Seriously? You? When?"

They laugh, "Only once. When I had a kidney infection and couldn't study, I also didn't want to miss my final."

"That's it? Though I suppose for you that's a lot."

"Yeah." They laugh and turn to me. "Madeleine. Truth or Dare?"

I throw a piece of popcorn into Alex's mouth. "Truth?"

"Mkay. What's your biggest regret?"

I turn around and face her. "Pass."

"You can't pass in Truth or Dare, Mads." Alex says.
