Srutija is sitting in her room, all bored as she got a message from Manyata that she would be late, Adarsh and Uday were also at office, working.
She decided that she would do her favourite thing, watching Siddharth Malhotra's movies and chill in her room. Just as the climax was starting, Adarsh barges in her room and Srutija gets startled with the intrusion.
Srutija: Bhai, aap ne hume dar diya. (keeping a hand on her heart to calm herself)
Adarsh: (ignoring her dead glare) Bhai, aa gaye kya?
Srutija: Yeh Dada ka room hai kya? (rolling her eyes at his stupidity) Hume kyu pooch rahe ho aap? (frowning)
Adarsh: I thought wo yahan hai. Hum unke room se aa rahe hai. Wo office se jaldi nikal gaye, hum unse 7 baje milne wale the per wo office mein hi nahi the.

Adarsh: Waise Manny kahan hai? Tumhare saath toh nahi hai aur nahi ghar pe kahi dikhi hume?
Srutija: Manny ne kaha ki use aaj der ho jayega. Pata nahi aisa kya hua hai office mein? (frowning, thinking of them)
Adarsh: (thinks) Kahi yeh dono koi date pe gaye kya? Wait a second, inn dono ne abhi tak ek dusre ko propose nahi kiya, kahi iska matlab Bhai abhi Manny ko propose kar rahe hai? Oh god, kaash yeh sach ho.
Just then, Unnati and Jay come to Srutija's room with a worried expression.
Adarsh: Mom, Mami Sa kya hua? Aap dono itne worried kyu lag rahe ho? Sab theek hai?
Jay: Adarsh, aap Chotte ko call kijiye, poochiye unse ki unhe ki wo kahan hai? Aur kitne time lagegi unhe? (Adarsh nods and takes out his phone) Sruti, beta, zara Manny ko call kijiye. Poochiye unse ki wo kahan hai aur kab ghar aa rahi hai? (Srutija nods and follows her instruction)
Unnati: Humara man bahut ghabra raha hai, Jay. Kahi phir se wahi sab..
Jay: (interrupting her) Unnati, kuch nahi hoga. Keep faith and don't lose hope.
Unnati: Adarsh, unhone phone utaya ya nahi.
Adarsh: Ring ho raha hai, Mami Sa.

Uday orders a butterscotch cheesecake later after finishing his americano while Manyata takes a strawberry pastry. Munching on their desserts, they maintain a strict silence.
