HINDI KO ALAM KUNG MAY MAGANDA BANG NAIDULOT ANG PAG-UUSAP NG MAG-AMA. Eri became too silent after she came back.

She may be interacting with Liz, reading the booked she get out of nowhere but her eyes looks so empty. Na para bang binabasa niya lang ito pero malayo dito ang kanyang isip.

She may be looking at the text but her gaze looks so empty that she is looking behind that book.

"It's getting late, Lis. Kailangan mo ng matulog. Same with you, Love. You need to sleep." I said as I grabbed the book on her hands.

Agad na umalma si Liz na hindi pa rin ako sanay na makita sa kanya. While Eri is just looking at out kid, watching her throw a little tantrums.

In the end, napapayag din namin siyang matulog ng maaga. I don't recall what happened but when Eri butt in and ask Liz to sleep sumunod agad ito sa kanya.

"Ok, ka lang ba?" tanong ko sabay abot ng katitimpla kong gatas para sa kanyang pagbubuntis.

Eri forcefully lift her lips forming a smile but it didn't reach her eye. I don't know but I already have seen this before... I don't like what I'm feeling about it.

Tumabi ako sa kanya at hinalikan ang kanyang noo. My lips stayed on her forehead and let mine rest on hers.

"Love, just remember how we love each other that's all that matters. Malayo na tayo mahal ko... malayo na." I said, more like convincing her. I already saw that look on her face before and that's the time she have drawbacks on what we have before. The moment she knew the truth between me an her mother.

"I love you North." ramdam ko ang pag-init ng aking mukha kaya napahawak ako sa aking pisngi. That earned a light chuckle on her and to hide my embarrassment I cleared my throat and gave my reply.

"I love thee most." she smiled. This time, it reached her eyes.

I gently wiped her eyes as I found it glistening, then all of a sudden three gunshots was heard then a sound of exchanging bullets was heard. The Palace is under attack!

Hindi na kami na nagatubili ang binuhat ko na si Lis na walang kaide-ideya sa nangyayari. I held Eri's hand and before I'm about to pull the knob isang pamilyar na kamay ang pumigil sa akin.

I hear Eri shriek, habang ako, nanlalaki ang aking mata habang nakatingin sa taong nasa aming harapan. What the hell?!

"West! What the hell are you doing here?!" I asked but she just place her pointing finger on her lips, signaling me to keep my voice down.

"Pinagsasabi mo ate, kanina ko pa kayo kasama. I even play with Lizzie while you two get kinky--" bulong niya saka niya nilock ang pinto.

"What?" biglang alma ni Eri.

"There's no time for that, there are armed five men coming to this way."

"Go inside the bathroom. Let me handle this." another shot was heard that makes Eri and Liz flinch. Several footsteps are getting louder I motioned West and give Lis to Eri.

"But--" Eri clearly doesn't what I'm planning. Hinila na lang ni West si Eri at Lis papasok ng banyo. Geez! I need to clarify something with my little sister later.

Agad akong naging alerto nga marinig ko ag pilit na pagbukas ng pinto. It was locked but they still trying to open it.

A loud thud vibrates the door. Like someone kicked the door but because of the hard wood, they can't  even destroy it. Multiple gunshot pierced only the knob, then another loud crash happened and it completely opened the door.

Nang makita kong dumungaw ang isang brasong hawak ang baril agad kong sinipa ang pintuan para muli itong sumara. Hindi na wala sa aking pandinig ang malakas na hiyaw ng lalaki habang dumadaing sa pagkakaipit.
