UNANG KABANATA

"What?! No! North and I aren't dating besides di ko yun papatulan noh! I'm straight as pole--" proud nitong saad sa mga kaibigan niya while flipping her long-straight hair, manifestation of her too much boastfulness. I can't contain myself with so much pain of betrayal and humiliation, palabas lang pala lahat.

Akala ko totoo lahat ng pinapakita niya sa akin that's why I take courage confessing to her pero hindi pala. All this time pinagkakatuwaan niya lang lahat ng effort ko just to please her. Maybe, palabas lang din ang pagiging selosa niya tuwing may kasama akong iba.

Oh North, obviously, yes! Palabas nga kasi lahat di ba?

Luckily, I managed to stop my urge of crying. Mas lalo akong magmumukhang kawawa sa kanila so I need to saved myself away from them.

I cleared every emotion that they could see at umalis ng di niya napapansin . Itinapon ko na rin sa basurahan ang paborito niyang bulaklak. I should be surprising her because it is our first month together pero ako pa ang nasorpresa. Kapag wala talagang magawa sa buhay ang iba, paglalaruan nila ang mga damdaming alay para sa kanila.

I take deep breath at marahas na pinunasan ang luha sa aking mata. I ride my bike at umalis na lang sa lugar, leaving the belief that love does exist.

I knocked on the door bago pumasok, Sinalubong ako ng direktor na seryosong nakatingin sa monitor.

"How's your wound?" she asked. I just shrugged my shoulder saying that it's ok. "...I never thought you'll catch the bullet for someone."

Hindi ako kumibo making it awkward to her. But the director managed to looked at me with so much authority. Ganyan talaga awra niya, nakakintimidate but I'm more intimidating than her kaya nag-iwas din siya ng tingin sa akin and let out a heavy sigh.

"Why so serious, Berserker? Your twin sister, South-- I mean Reaper is the coldest agent we've ever had pero mukhang gusto mo siyang palitan. Hahaha! Buti na lang biglang nagbago na yun kaya di na gaanong malamig sa Agency." she paused when she noticed that I'm not interested.

Mabilisan kong binasa lahat ng nilalaman ng folder. Lahat ng di ko alam for over 8 years ay nandito. All of her hobbies, friends, and even her past relationships and how to deal with her. Too personal, but who cares.
