From the sides of mountains to the largest of caves the echoes of metal hitting metal and the heat of forges are where you can find dwarves those who are masters of forging things and stone craft.

Dwarves are considered humanoid type creatures. They are fairly human looking however they are very small.

Traits that come from this race.
Your con is increased by 2 points.
They mature around the same rate as humans and can live up to 350 years.
Dwarves can also see in the dark however only in shades of gray.
You are proficient with battleaxes, hand axes, light hammers and warhammers.
You are resistant and have advantage on saving throws against poison.
You can fluently speak, read and write common and dwarvish.
Dwarves size are often between 4ft and 5ft tall and their walk speed is 25 ft. Your speed is not reduced when you wear heavy armor.
When you make a history check on stone work and history of stonework you would add the double amount of your proficiency bonus.
You also become proficient with either smiths tools, brewers supplies or masons tools.

There are four subraces to the dwarves.

Hill dwarf often have keen senses, remarkable resilience to things and a very deep intuition. Your wisdom score is increased by 1 point.
Your hp max is increased by 1 and increases by one each time you level.

Mount dwarf are considered strong and are used to living on difficult and hard terrain. Your strength score is increased by 2 points and are proficient with light and medium armor.

The mark of warding give the dwarves the power to protect and make things much more stronger and resilient and give them an understanding of locks. Your intel is increased by 1 point. When you make an investigation check or use thieves tools you can roll a 1d4 and add the number you rolled to your ability check. You can cast alarm, armor of agathys, arcane lock, knock, glyph of warding, magic circle, leomunds secret chest, mordenkainens faithful sound, and antilife shell.

Duergar find themselves in the deepest places in the realm of the underworld.  They can cast enlarge/ reduce on themselves, and cast invisibility. You also have advantage on saving throws or to end the charmed and stunned status effect.
