Shifters are believed to be the descendants of humans and lycanthropes as they are very human looking people but have a more of a connection with their animal side.

Traits that come with this race.
You can live up to 70 years.
You shift yourself more towards the chaotic side on the alignment chart.
You can see in the dark but only in shades of gray.
You can read, write and speak common.
You can go into a more animal like form which gives you temp hit points and you have only turn back if you choose to, 1 minute in game passes or you are killed.
You are between 4 and 6 feet tall.
Your walk speed is 30 feet.

There are four main subraces that depend on what type of animal you shift to.

Beasthide are big and strong that have thick skin like bears, boars or even buffalo. You are proficient in the athletic skill. Your con is increased by 2 points and your strength is increased by 1 point.
You gain 1d6 of temp points and have a plus 1 to your AC when you shift.
Longtooth are fierce and aggressive drawing off more canine like features however draw their power from hyenas or tigers. Your strength is increased by 2 and your dex is increased by 1 point. You are proficient in intimidation. You grow fangs deal 1d6 plus your strength mod worth of piercing damage.
Swiftstride are quick, quiet and difficult to socially and physically pin down taking on traits more like felines. Your dex is increased by 2 and your charisma is increased by 1 point. You are proficient in the acrobatics skill. You gain 10 extra feet to your movement speed.
Wildhunt are intelligent and calculated. They are good at hunting often taking traits from hounds or wolves.
Your wisdom is increased by 2 and your dex is increased by 1 point. You are proficient in survival. You have advantage on wisdom checks and nothing within 30 feet of you can attack with advantage against you.
