Tanjiro's Pov

We're going on that mission in a few days, something about a train. I'm not sure about it, but I will get more information soon.

I went about my day as usual, excercising and having fun. There really isn't much to do, but my firneds andNezuko keeps me occupied.

"Tanjiro." A familiar voice spoke as a hand rested on my shoulder. I turned around and my stomach instantly began hurting.
"Y-yeah?!" I smiled brightly. 

"Don't overwork yourself. Your next mission might tire you out." He spoke in a plain tone. I love his voice, I love everything about him..!

"Right!! I-I'll do my best on the m-mission." I spoke in an energetic tone.
"Is something wrong? Everytime I speak to you, you have a stutter." He replied. I felt my face burn up. "N-nope! Everything's fine, I g-gotta go.." I quickly walk off, not daring to look behin me.

I'm hopeless..

Akaza's Pov

Another victim, dead. Stupid humans. I heard fireworks in the distance.

I remember Koyuki and me watching fireworks. But I can't help but feel cold inside when I think about her. But, she made me happy once, so this coldness is confusing. I don't miss her, as much as I want to I just .. Don't.

I want to feel that warmth again. But who would make me feel like that? Another woman destined to die? That's just stupid. Maybe I could find the warmth in another demon, but they all have the same coldness. I have came across many other demons, they don't make me feel any different.

Sometimes, I just want to feel the warmth again. The feeling makes me want to cry, but I can't.

"Akaza."

I look around, I guess I'm back in the infinity castle, or whatever this place is called. I turn around to see Master. I slightly widen my eyes and bow.

"I want you to kill the boy. The one with the hanafuda earrings." He-- well, 'she' pointed to her ear. "Stop at nothing. Do not return until that boy is dead."

"Yes Master." I mumble. I then quickly turn around and leave. A boy with hanafuda earrings? Sounds stupid to me.

Heyyaaa.
Short chapter, I know. I am very sorry! I want to spend as much time on this as possible, but I also don't want to keep you all waiting! So there will be a few very short chapters, bare with me.

All grammar and spelling errors will hopefully be fixed in future, thankyou for being so patient with me <3
