After leaving the Projection Room, the quartet was stumped. Because there was no key in either the Projection or Billiards Room, it made things tricky on finding the next room.

"Where could we have missed a portrait ghost?" Blue wondered aloud.

"How about that room before the Mirror Room?" Anna suggested.

"Do you mean the Fortune-Teller's Room?" Luigi said before thinking it over, "Actually, you might be onto something."

"But didn't you already go there?" Marshall asked Luigi.

"We did, but we didn't do a lot of exploring. That was before we found you, Marshall," Anna replied.

Going back to the Fortune-Teller's Room, the heroes did a more thorough search. While they found a Boo, they came up empty-handed for a portrait ghost. That was the case until Luigi pulled out the Game Boo and found a female ghost in front of the crystal ball.

The ghost had a long red dress and a purple scarf around her pale hair. She also wore a purple veil over her mouth that had an eye, which could mark her as a seer. Lastly, she had purple eye shadow, a gold necklace, and two ornate earrings and bracelets.

"Destiny chooses our paths..." she muttered.

"Uh, hello...?" Luigi said trying to get the ghost's attention.

"Excuse us? Down here," Blue said.

The ghost focused her attention on the quartet before her.

"What... do you seek of me?" she asked.

"Well..." before Anna could ask her question, she needed to know who the ghost was, "First off, who are you?"

"I am Madame Clairvoya, my dear," she introduced, "Seer of dropped items. Possesions of other people awaken vibrations in my spirit. If you find someone's dropped items, you should bring them to me. I will show you the extent of my vision..."

"Dropped items..." Luigi said before realizing something, "Do you mean something like this?"

Luigi pulled out Mario's cap and showed it to Madame Clairvoya.

"Wh-what is this?" Clairvoya examined the cap until she recognized the insignia.

"If it isn't Mario's hat!" she exclaimed, "Why, it's so clean, as if... SOMEONE JUST WASHED IT!"

The fortune-teller took a breather and saw Luigi and Co. feeling uncomfortable.

"Sorry, sometimes I like to add a little drama, you know."

"Hm? Just one moment... Did I just say, Mario?" she asked herself, "Could it be... THAT Mario?"

"Ahhh, I see now. Well, I see everything, so I saw it before but now I REALLY see it," Clairvoya pointed her finger at Luigi, "So you are Luigi, the brother of the famous Mario... and you and your friends have come to this place to find him... Well, aren't you a good little brother!"

"Mario wasn't the only person we're trying to save here," Marshall said.

"Yeah, we're also trying to save our loved ones, too," Anna added.

"Is that so?" Madame Clairvoya replied before hacking.

"A-are you alright?" Luigi asked with concern.

"I'm fine. Excuse me, I don't laugh much."

That was when the quartet and ghost saw the crystal ball glow. Almost as if spirits were trying to communicate with Clairvoya.

"Oh-oh! They come!" she exclaimed, "Now the spirits come! Come, spirits of power, come spirits of sight! Show me the awful things occurring here tonight!"
