The King of Boos

Luigi opened the door to face King Boo alone. He wanted to do it with his friends, but King Boo only wanted him. As he entered the Secret Altar, Luigi could see King Boo admiring the portraits of Mario, Blue's owner Steve, Anna's sister Elsa, and Marshall's friend Everest.

Luigi does his best to quietly sneak up to King Boo. But the King of Boos was aware of Luigi's presence.

"Ahh, I could stare at my Mario, Steve, Elsa, and Everest paintings for hours!" King Boo said with pride.

"It's true what they say about fine art... it takes utterly refined sensibilities to truly appreciate it!" King Boo could see not only Mario, but also Steve, Elsa, and Everest trying to break out, King Boo chuckled at their efforts.

"The rest of you, don't take this personally. But I wanted some more variety in my gallery. But as for you... Mario, the way you plead for help... I find it so satisfying." King Boo remembered how Mario and Luigi outsmarted them before. The thought made his blood boil.

"Perhaps that is merely because I remember how much trouble you've caused in the past. Seriously, though, who would actually believe that mansions get given away in contests?! Talk about stupid?! What do they feed you Mario Bros. anyway... gullible soup? Your brother and his friends came all the way just to get turned into a painting... It's just terrific."

King Boo turned around to Luigi, who had his Poltergust 3000 ready.

"However... These Mario, Steve, Elsa, and Everest paintings look lonely... I must have a Luigi, Blue, Anna, and Marshall Painting as well! Then my gallery will truly be complete! Bleah HA HA!"

"I... may be afraid. But nothings gonna stop me from saving my bro and everyone," Luigi said, ready to suck King Boo in.

"I am not afraid of you, fool! I fear only that infernal Poltergust 3000 you carry on your back! Stupid machine!" King Boo said in anger, "But I am a KING among Boos! I swear it... I shall fear no mere house-cleaning device!! I must say... I despise the way you SHWEEERRPP-SHLOOOOP-WHOOORPP-SHLEEEOOORG-vacuumed up all the Portrait Ghosts AND my friends! Don't imagine that I'll flee... I'll fight you like a true Boo!"

King Boo began to focus his energy on his crown's gem as a purple aura surrounded him.

"Now join your brother... inside the painting!"

Suddenly, the room turned dark, and the Mario painting turned into a Bowser painting. Bowser then opened his mouth and sucked Luigi in. When Luigi woke up, he found himself back on the Roof, except this time, a flame wall surrounded the outside. Just then, Bowser landed on the Roof and engaged Luigi in battle.

Bowser began to shoot flames at Luigi who barely dodged in time. Bowser did this a few more times. Bowser then created spike balls in his hand and threw them at Luigi. As Luigi avoided them, he started to get pulled in by Bowser when he tried to inhale him.

"Come on, there's got to be a weak point," Luigi said as he tried to scan Bowser with the Game Boo.

"Tough luck, Luigi. This bad boy can't be beaten!" King Boo said as he made the Bowser suit spew more flames at Luigi.

"Yeeeeyoooowww!!!" Luigi cried in pain.

"Bleah ha ha! Take that!" King Boo mocked, "Now to finish you off once and for all!"

"Don't count on it, King Boo!" a voice, or rather three voices said.

Just then, one of the spike balls flew right at Bowser's head exposing King Boo. When Luigi turned to see who that was, to his surprise, it was Blue, Anna, and Marshall.

"Guys!" Luigi said running up to them, "How'd you get here?"

"WHAT?!" King Boo shouted enraged, "I made it clear that I only wanted LUIGI!"
