Going back up the second floor, Luigi, and Co. unlocked the Safari Room. Inside the quartet could see three animal pelts on the floor. There were also three deer heads above a shelf with boxes. Blue and Marshall had some mixed feelings about the room they entered. Luigi and Anna didn't blame them, the animal pelts and deer heads almost looked real.

As Anna was inspecting the deer heads with her Poltergust 3000, a Blue Blazer appeared in front of her. As the princess handled the ghost, two Garbage Ghosts came into the room. Luckily, Blue and Luigi helped and sucked each of them, while Marshall removed the banana peels.

As usual, a treasure chest appeared, with a key inside. Leaving the Safari Room, and going down the hall, Luigi unlocked the door. Upon entering the door, they found themselves on the Balcony. But what they saw made Luigi stiff in place.

In front of them were fifteen Boos circling each other. To Blue, Anna, and Marshall it wasn't as scary. Luigi on the other hand was mortified.

"To think that scardey-cat Luigi and his friends have made it this far..." one of the Boos taunted, "Oh, we're so frightened!"

"I guess it's our turn, then..." another Boo added.

"All right, fellow Boos, let's assume our real form..." a third Boo said, "But first, how about giving them a  little scare!"

The ring of Boos disappeared, leaving the quartet uneasy about what they would do next.

"W-w-where did they go?" Luigi asked hesitantly.

"Your guess is as good as mine," Anna said.

Luigi's question was soon answered as the Boos appeared right before them. The green plumber was the most frightened as the Boos drew closer grabbing each of them one by one.

Soon, they found themselves in what looked like an ethereal version of the Balcony with two alicorn ice sculptures. While, Luigi was still in shock, and Blue and Anna were used to that sequence, this was Marshall's first time.

"Where are we?" Marshall wondered.

"In another one of these arenas," Blue replied.

"Look out!" Luigi screamed as he pushed them out of the way.

Now all the Boos were merged into one giant Boo. They were now known as Boolossus.

"You pathetic fools!" he taunted, "You've been sucking up our brothers and sisters for far too long. Now it's your turn to be in a painting!"

Boolossus began to jump around the arena in an attempt to crush Luigi and Co. Blue suggested that they try to suck him in with all the Poltergusts. But none of the Boos in Boolossus were pulled in.

"Why isn't this working?!" Anna said in a panic.

"Ha! Those dumb vacuums won't suck up this bad Boo!"

Realizing they'll have to use something to split the Boos, Anna told them to find anything sharp. Marshall quickly took notice of the ice sculptures and without warning, pulled Boolossus to the pointy horn.

To his and the others' surprise, Boolossus popped, making the little Boos vulnerable. Anna and Luigi even found some Ice Elemental Ghosts and froze the Boos. This made them easy to be sucked in. The Boos soon regained their senses and resembled Boolossus, but he was smaller this time.

The second time they popped him, the Boos were much faster. But it did make them easy to catch. It wasn't long before Marshall sucked the last one in his Poltergust. Luigi and the others breathed a sigh of relief for their victory before being teleported out of the arena.

To the left of the Balcony, another treasure chest appeared. Marshall opened it and found a blue key with a diamond on the top. At that moment, their communications devices went off.

"KRZZZ...Lu...i...gi...KRZZZ,...Bl...ue, A...n...na...KRZZZ..., Mars...hall...KRZZZ," The quartet could tell that was E. Gadd as he was trying to get in touch with them.

"Can you guys hear me?" he asked when they pushed the answer button.

"We're right here, Professor!" Marshall replied.

"Oh, what a relief!" E. Gadd sighed, "That white mist interrupted your signals. You seem to have done some serious work there!"

"You could say that again," Blue said, "Should we head back to the lab?"

"That would be a wise choice," said E. Gadd, "We can have dinner while we gaze at these ghost paintings!"

"What're you fixing?" Luigi asked.

"Tonight, I'm making an old family recipe. Pickled dandelions with barnacles in a diesel marinade!"

The thought of what E. Gadd just said, made Luigi and Co. feel sick.

"I think we'll pass up on that," Luigi said.

"Agreed," the others said.

"Just thinking about that sounds even worse than the snacks Captain Turbot eats," Marshall said feeling woozy.

But before any of them could enter the door leading down. Lightning began to crash around the rooftop, and sure enough, the power went out. But luckily, Luigi still had his flashlight on him.

"Is everyone alright?" he asked.

"We're good here," Anna said.

"Criminy! What a calamity!" E. Gadd said through the Game Boo.

"The elec... electricity has gone out! That lighting strike just now must've caused a blackout. I can't see anything in this blasted darkness... The ghosts will have the run of the place in the dark! Be careful!"

"That can't be good," said Blue, "Luigi, since you have the flashlight. Can you lead us out of here?"

Luigi nodded and they all left for E. Gadd's lab. Now that Boolossus is done, they should be near the end of their journey.

Luigi: Finally, one more area left! I don't know how much longer I can take of these ghosts.

Me: I'm sure you'll be fine, Luigi.

Anna: Ok. But why the cliffhanger?

Me: For area 4 of course.
