[Guys, this took 10 years off of my life, hope you enjoy B-) ]

-Lances's POV-
"Keith! Buddy! C'mon, we need to get a move on" I whisper.
Since Keith was unconscious, of course he didn't respond.
Before I can continue to try and wake Keith up anymore- a retched cry erupts me outside of my thoughts. I freeze in place as my mind fills of dread. Following that one cry, echoed many others. I don't dare move to violently. An uncontrollable chill squirms up across my spine.
Idiotically, I slowly crane my head upwards. I see my old friends, the Oducousrs. The beasts where pure white, covered in angelic feathers. Well-all wonderful, apart from the vermilion scars that stretched across their strong bodies, each and every one of them. They looked beautiful. But up close, like Lotor, they are snotty, they spit at you. They had these wickedly jagged teeth, ones that you'd never want to see pick up your best friend and fly away with them.
'No, no no no. Not them again, holy shit. No' being the only thought that my mind surrounds. No, I already lost Pidge to them, and I have no idea as for where they could be. I could tell that they mindlessly took Pidge, not because they were a green paladin, no, I had this gut feeling it was something else. But, here lays Keith, limb, and bloody-lipped.
I found passed out when I burst through the ruble of the ground, shot the Oducousrs, making the world beneath me, disappear. So here we lay, a layer under the surface full of ever shifting yet thick silverfish sand, with an injured Keith. They are not getting my Keith. No fucking way.
My breath continues to quicken as the flock becomes faster and faster. I don't do anything. I just sit there, too scared to move.
"Lance, what the hell are those?" Keith moans (in pain, you pervs).
I look down in shock "Keith! Hey, ok, I will explain all of this later, okay? I need you to get up, or we will become bird chow".
Keith lets out an involuntary whoozy whine as he trys to get up as his face goes slightly pink. He dislocated his shoulder when he fell, and with that, he hurt so much more. I got up, sheathed my bayard, then knelt down on one leg and offered a hand to Keith. He just scowled and batted my hand away. He stumbled when getting up, but he stubbornly sheathed his own bayard and pretending he was doing okay.
I look at him and nod my head to the right, where a steep Boulder sits. Sure this plot was particularly messy from the battle before, full of inactivated bombs and and alien-juice. But, it is what we had to to work with, so a boulder was our best hiding spot.
Keith looks back at me and nods coldly. Good, he understood that we have to be quiet. They are blind but, they only see stronger sound waves.
We both jog lightly behind this rock. But Keith gets there first.
Keith shoves me against the boulder, as he takes one last look behind his shoulder and kneels behind the boulder next to me. I get up and I too, kneel behind the boulder. I whip out my Bayard and try my best to aim towards the increasing flock of the Oducousrs. But before I could shoot, Keith quickly yanks me down by my arm.
Letting my Bayard fall next to my hips. I shoot him a confused glare. He just grabs me by my waist and pulls me closer. A stomach began bubbling as my insides felt a familiar overwhelming warmth. But, it was just because he was on the steeper part of the boulder.
"Stay down" he hisses sharply. His breath tickling the nape of my neck, damn that's hot. Not now, Lance.
He darts his eyes between the horizon and the flock of winged-aliens. I don't know why he is looking at the horizon, theres no road beyond it, that we know of anyway.
