Chapter 8

Suri was working on Vision's stone. I had been watching Suri for a bit. "You're amazing," I said, watching as she re-aligned all the circuits.

"Thank you," She said back to me. I moved over to Wanda.

"Hey Wands," I said.

"Hi, Aj," said back to me. I hadn't talked to her since Germany.

"I'm really sorry about how things ended between us," I said.

"So am I," she said, "Are you and Natasha ok?" Wanda asked.

"Yeah, we just got into a disagreement this morning, but we're fine," Wanda nodded.

"Well if you ever need to talk I'm here," Wanda said.

"Yeah, same for you," I said, "So how have you been minus all of this?"

"I've been doing really well, when I was on the run it was great, I had Vis and everything was perfect except for Ross looking for us, how about you?"

"I've been ok, I had Tony and Pepper and they finally got married, I finished college and got my degree, I was just missing Natasha, but I'm really glad you were happy." Then the ground shook.

"Shit," Wanda said. I walked over to the window. These big pointy things were rising out of the ground outside of Wakanda.

"Holy fucking shit," I said, "Suri," she turned to the window and stared at it for a second.

"God," she sighed. Their things charged at the shield they looked like little gray dots from where we were. I saw a group of them go into the shield.

"Fuck they're in," I said. Everyone started shooting at them, Sam swooped down and shot them. And Rhodey blew dropped some bomb things blowing them up. Then I saw everyone charge towards the shield.

"What are they doing?" Wanda asked.

"Opening the shield," Suri said, stunned. The alien things poured into Wakanda,

"Oh my god," I said. I turned away from the window, I couldn't look at it anymore every time I saw the alien things I couldn't stop thinking about one of them hurting Nat.

"We've barely begun, brother," I heard Suri say, she must have been talking to T'challa. She picked up the pace. Wanda was still looking out of the window. A ray of light shot down from the sky.

"Aj," she said. I looked over my mouth hung open something shot down and hit a bunch of the aliens. A man caught it he had a tree standing next to him and a raccoon was on him.

"And I thought this couldn't get any weirder," I said.

"Aj," Wanda said again, "That's Thor."

"The god?" I asked. She nodded. He raised himself to the sky. He had lightning trailing him and he flew into the sky. "Damn," I said. I walked over to Suri to see her progress on the stone. She was going as fast as she could but sadly it wasn't fast enough. Wanda walked over too and put her hands on Vision, we stayed there for a while. There was another loud rumble. Wanda and I walked towards the window. The ground was moving up and some big metal weel things were running people over.

"Oh my god," Wanda said,

"Do you think Nat's ok?" I asked, my eyes were filled with tears.

"Yeah," Wanda said, "I think she is. Aj, we should go down and help." I looked back out the window,

"Yeah," I said, "Suri, we're going down," I said. Suri nodded and continued to work on Vision. Wanda and I ran out of the door and outside. When we got to the grass Wanda used her powers to boost herself into the air.
