Chapter 12

It had been about a week and Carol still wasn't back. We were all worried that something had happened to them. I was watching tv with Nat we heard a noise, a rumble, the ground was shaking. "Holy shit," I said, it had to be Carol. Nat and I ran outside, everyone else was running out. A huge spaceship was being carried from the sky by Captain Marvel. "It's them," I whispered. Everyone just stared. The Carol lowered the spaceship to the ground and stopped glowing. Tony and some blue person walked out of the ship. Steve ran straight at Tony, and Pepper and I followed. Steve and the blue person helped Tony down the stairs.

"Couldn't stop him," Tony said.

"Neither could I," Cap said

"I lost the kid," Tony said, not Peter.

"Tony," Cap said, "We lost,"

"Is, uh?" Tony was not doing ok. Pepper and I finally got to Tony.

"Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" Pepper said to Tony. Tony kissed Pepper.

"It's okay," he let her go and looked at me.

"Dad," I said, tears spilling out of my eyes, Tony was crying too. He gave me a huge hug, "I'm so glad you're ok I was so worried that something had happened." I said.

"I know," he whispered, "I'm so happy that you're ok."

"Me too," I said. I hugged him for a while. Then we walked towards the compound. Nat, Bruce, and Rhodes all gave Tony hugs. The raccoon whose name was Rocket and the Blue person sat on the stairs of the ship next to each other.

I stayed with Tony for the night and slept in a chair in his room. They had him on some medication because he had been in space for so long, I didn't want to leave him. I woke up and all of the Avengers met in the conference room I was there early so was the blue person, Carol, Thor who was over in the corner, and Banner. I walked over to the blue person to introduce myself, "Hi," I said, "I'm Aj, Tony's daughter, thanks for everything that you did for him." I said to the blue person, "And thank you so much, Carol." Carol nodded.

"I'm Nebula," The blue woman said as I shook her hand.

"So," I said, "where are you from?"

"Syllogonia," Nebula said.

"In space?" I asked. Nebula nodded, "That's so cool, I love space like love space."

"Do you say that every time someone mentions space?" Carol asked.

"Maybe," I said.

Nat and Steve walked in with coffee. Nat walked over to me,

"Morning," she said kissing me on the lips. She handed me a cup of coffee.

"Hey," I said.

"Have you met Nebula yet?" I asked Nat, Nat shook her head.

"Natasha," Nat shook Nebula's hand. I walked over to Thor and sat next to him he was talking all of this the worst out of all of us, 

"Hey Thor," I said. 

"Hello Lady Aj," Thor said to me, he looked sad. 

"Are you ok?" I asked, "like really?" 

"No," Thor said, "We failed, we lost, I lost." 

"I know," I said, "I get that, and me too," I stretched my arm out to give Thor a hug he accepted and we hugged. I liked Thor, a lot. Rhodes and Tony walked in with Rocket and we started the meeting. I walked over to the table and stood next to Nat,

"I feel really bad for Thor and also Carol is definitely gay," I whispered to Natasha.

"Aj," she sighed.
