It had been 3 days. There was no Tony, half the world was gone, and we still hadn't caught Thanos. Fury and Hill had disappeared so we couldn't go to them but Fury had left one thing. A pager with a gold star and red and blue around it. We had no clue what it was or what it meant but it had to be important. The pager had been beeping and beeping and never stopped so whoever was on the other end was not listening.

Anyway, Nat, Steve, and I were in the conference room, we were looking at numbers, increasing numbers, the number of people who had disappeared. No country had their final count in and we didn't know when it would be in but it looked like Thanos' plan had worked.

"This is a nightmare," Steve said.

"I've had better nightmares," Nat responded. Rhodey walked in,

"Hey," he said, "So that thing just stopped doing whatever the hell it was doing." Nat sighed. We all went to the room where Banner was keeping the pager. The pager was in some glass chamber. We all stared at it.

"What have we got?" Nat asked Bruce who had been studying the pager.

"Whatever the signal is sending, it finally creeped off," Banner answered.

"I thought we bypassed the battery," Steve said.

"We did. It's still plugged in, it just, it just stopped," Rhodey said.

"Reboot and send the signal again," Steve said.

"We don't even know what this is," Banner said.

"Furry did," Nat started, "Just do it, please. You tell me the second you get a signal. I want to know who's on the other end of that thing." I briefly turned my head and was greeted by a blonde woman with a suit that had the same star the pager had on it standing behind us.

"Holy shit!" I said. Everyone turned around.

"Where's Fury?" The girl asked.

"Who the hell are you?" Nat asked.

"Where's Fury?" She said again this time a bit more stern.

"She's hot," I whispered to Nat. Nat rolled her eyes at me.

"He disappeared," Steve said, "Like millions of others, we assume that's why he paged you, who are you?"

"Captain Marvel," She said.

"Oh, looks like you've got some captain competition, Rogers," I said. Steve smiled at me then looked back to Captain Marvel.

"How do you know Fury?" Nat asked.

"Long story," Captain Marvel said.

"Well, what is this pager for?" Banner asked.

"It was for emergencies," She said.

"Nick must've done this before he disappeared." Nat sighed.

"What's the emergency," Captain Marvel asked.

"This big purple raisin collected some stones, snapped his fingers, and made millions of people like Fury disappear," I said. Captain Marvel rolled her eyes.

"She's making this up right?" She asked.

"Well," Rhodey started.

We explained the whole situation to Captain Marvel. "Thanos," She said, "I've heard of him and the things he's done to other planets. This is horrible."

"So, Carol and Steve, where do you want to start?" I asked.

"I think we should try to find Tony, see if he's dusted or if he's ok," Steve said.

"Tony?" Carol asked.

"Ironman," I said. Carol still looked confused, "He's an avenger, a superhero along with the rest of us, he went up to space to fight Thanos I think at least. We just need to find him and make sure he's ok because if he isn't I don't know what I'll do." Nat put her hand on my shoulder.

"Are you two together or something?" Carol asked. Everyone including me started laughing.

"No, ew, never," I said, "He's my dad."

"Ah," Carol said, "So step one is to find Tony?" She asked.

"Yes," Cap said, "Then we get him, then we get the stones and bring everyone beak." We all nodded. "I think we should break for the night. Good work today Avengers!" Steve walked over to me, "Do you mind taking Carol to one of the guest rooms?"

"No not at all," I said, I walked to Nat, "I'm going to take Carol to a guest room," I said.

"Ok," Nat said, "do I need to worry about you two?" Nat asked.

"No, I only said she was hot, you, my love, are smoking." I pecked her on the lips and walked to Carol.

"Hey Carol, I'm Aj," I said.

"Nice to meet you Aj," she said.

"I'll take you to your room." Carol and I started down the long hallway, "So where are you from?" I asked her.

"Boston, originally," she said.

"Really, I thought you were from space," I laughed.

"No, I've lived there for about 30 years."

"That's amazing," I said, "I love space."

"So," Carol said, "You and the blonde." I smiled.

"Yeah, she's, she's great," I smiled.

"What's her name?"

"Natasha," I said.

"How long have you been together?" Carol asked.

"Well it's complicated but we've technically been in a relationship for two years," I said.

"You two are cute," she said.

"Thanks," I said. We walked up a staircase and got to Carol's room. I opened the door for her. "Here is your room, the bathrooms the door on the left, the closets on the right, there is a minifridge and there should be some water in it. Oh and I'll get your voice set up with F.R.I.D.A.Y, our like virtual assistant butler whatever you want to call it, she just does stuff for you."

"Cool," Carol said. I set up her voice, said goodnight to her, and went to my room. Nat was already in bed. I threw on my pajamas and layed down next to her.

"Carol says we're cute together," I said.

"Aw that's sweet," Natasha said half-sleep.

"I think she's gay," I said.

"What?" Nat asked.

"She just radiates gay energy," I said.

"How?" Nat asked.

"I can't explain it she just does, and may I tell you Natasha I have an incredible gaydar, that has barely ever been wrong."

"Barley?"

"Shut up," I playfully said.
