Over the next few months, all of the Avengers moved out of the compound and went to do their own things. Tony bought a lakehouse around twenty minutes from the compound. Steve bought a house upstate. Banner left and basically locked himself in a lab, Rhodey went back and did more work for the military, Carol left to help other planets, Rocket and Nebula left to go back to space, and Thor went to New Asgard. Nat and I barely stayed at the compound, we would stay at my apartment in the city and at Tony's but that was pretty much it. Nat and I did have a few great moments over that time. Natasha and I got married, Pepper had a baby, I had a new sister, Morgan. Nat and I had talked about kids, but we hadn't come to a decision. We saw Steve regularly, Carol had visited once or twice, and Rhodey came up to the compound sometimes, but no one else, it was only me and Nat, and most of the time we wern't there, we were at my apartment in the city for most of the year, so I could continue my work at Stark Industries closer to the office. We went to Tony and Pepper's for holidays and sometimes over the summer. The Avengers were drifting apart.
