Chapter 28

Clint and I continued to run with the gauntlet while those things chased us. Clint threw arrows back, explosive arrows, the tunnel blew up and Clint and I fell back. We looked back and those things were still alive. Clint used his grappling hook to get away from them and I flew up. We got away from all of those things and we both fell on our backs tired and out of breath. Nebula walked up to us.

"Oh, hey– I know you," Clint handed her the gauntlet. Nebula put her hands up to her earpiece.

"Father," she said. We both looked at each other than at her. "I have the stones."

"What?!" Clint and I said at the same time. Clint tried to get up but Nebula put her foot on him and pointed a gun at him. Then some green lady walked around the corner.

"Stop," The green woman said.

"You're betraying us?" Nebula said.

"Her betraying?" I said completely shocked at Nebula's hipocrasy.  Then another Nebula walked out. I was so beyond confused. Nebula 1 pointed a gun at Nebula 2. Nebula 1 seemed distracted so Clint and I got up and ran to the corner. The Nebulas and the green lady talked for a bit. I completely tuned out until Nebula 2 shot Nebula 1. Clint got up and I followed. Clint picked up the gauntlet. Clint and I found Tony, Thor, and Cap. They were all fighting Thanos. Cap was holding Thor's lightning hammer and his shield beating up Thanos with both, it looked so cool. Thanos flipped Cap over and started coming at him with some sword thing. His sword thing cut through Cap's shield. Then he hit Cap back.

"In all my years of conquest, violence, slaughter. It was never personal. But I'll tell you now what I'm about to do to your stubborn, annoying little planet I'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much," Thanos said. A stream of blue light flooded from the sky and an army of people stood behid Thanos, we were fucked. There were tanks, huge alien things, and those ship things that I saw in 2012 New York, we couldn't fight all that. Cap finally stood up.

"Hey, Cap, you read me? Cap, it's Sam. Can you hear me?" Sam said from the comms.

"Oh my god Sam," I whispered. An orange portal opened behind me and T'challa, Suri, and Okoye walked through. Tears of joy fell from my eyes. More portals opened and more of the Avengers walked through. Sam flew through the sky. I saw Peter fly in on a web and land. An army of Wakandans walked in chanting, maybe we could win. Wanda flew down from the sky and landed. It worked, the time heist, it worked. Then Pepper flew down in the armor Tony made for her. Then giant Scott uncovered himself from the rocks. Hulk, Rhodes, and Rocket jumped out of Scott's hand. Everyone took battle positions.

"AVENGERS!" Cap yelled, He caught the hammer with his hand, "Assemble." Everyone charged toward Thanos. I flew next to Tony. Thanos sent his army towards us. Both of our Armies met in the middle, I repulsed and shot energy beams at as many of Thanos' army. Then I went to some of those big 2012 New York things, I shot some huge energy beams and missiles at them. I saw Tony hugging Peter, which made me smile, I knew how much he missed him and how he thought that losing Peter was all his fault.

"Cap, what do you want me to do with this damn thing?" Clint said over the comms.

"Get those stones as far away as possible!" Cap said.

"No! We need to get them back where they came from," Banner said.

"No way to get them back. Thanos destroyed the quantum tunnel." Tony said.

"Hold on!" Scott paused, "That wasn't our only time machine." La Cucaracha started playing, the van.

"Anyone see an ugly, brown van up there?" Steve said.
