I lightly know on the door, careful not to wake my mother up.

Henry opens his room door and lets me in.

"What did he say?" Henry asks.

"He said he'll drive us," I tell him. "But you owe me."

"Thank you," he says as he hugs me.

"You're welcome."

"You're lucky," Nolan says. "My parents are out tonight."

"If your parents catch you I will take full blame." I tell him.

"You're doing the same for me if my mum finds out." Elijah says.

"Why did you come?" Henry asks him.

"You're not going on a cool trip to Boston without me," He says, leaning back in his chair.

"Fine." I tell him.

"You're the best Bella." Elijah says.

"Of course I am."

"Nora always gets sick at the worst times." Elijah says.

"You're just saying that because you're into her." Nolan says as we cross the town border.

"That's not true:" Elijah says defensively.

"I don't know," I say, turning around to look at him. "Nolan kinda has a point."

"I hate both of you," Elijah says as he folds his arms. "Your just trying to defend your boyfriend."

I give Elijah a look, Henry's not stupid but there's always a chance he could slip up to my mom that Nolan and I are dating so I've never told him. My mom would freak out if I told her that I had a boyfriend.

She hates us doing basically everything. I hate how strict she is, the only benefit of Henry being her favourite is that she's worse with him.

"I already knew you and Nolan were dating," Henry says with a grin. "You can't hide stuff from me Bella."

"You can't tell mom she would kill
me," I tell him. "Literally."

"She's like an evil queen." Henry says.

"Henry," I say. "Mom has been over this."

"He's a kid Arabella," Elijah says. "He's allowed to believe in fairytales."

"You don't get it," I tell him. "My mom freaks out when you even mention a fairytale character."

"I know your mom is terrifying," Nolan says. "But surely she can't be completely against anything fun."

"Oh, she is trust me," I tell him. "She never lets us do anything, she banned almost everything that isn't non-fiction."

"At least she has a cool job." Nolan says.

"A job that takes up all of her time," I say. "She's either always in her office or out because of work."
