"I don't believe exactly what Henry is saying," I tell Nora as I sit down on my bed. "But this town has started to feel different ever since he started talking about all this nonsense."

"It's probably just a coincidence," She says as she sits down on the bed.

"I really want to believe him," I tell her as I take one of the pillows and hug it. "But it's insane."

"He's a kid," Nora tells me. "He'll grow out of it eventually."

She's right, he's only ten right now and that's when most children's imagination is the wildest.

"He's a smart kid," I tell her. "I mean half the stuff he says adds up with our town."

"How so?" Nora asks as she gives me a strange look.

"Emma's name is in the book on a blanket but that's the easiest one to debunk," I tell her. "All the characters in the book look exactly like people around town."

"What are our parents in it?" Nora jokes .

"My mom is," I tell her as I pick up the book from my bedside table. "I borrowed the book from Henry earlier."

I flip through the book for a moment before stopping on one of the pages before holding it up for Nora to see.

"That's just creepy," Nora says, taking the book out of my hands to get a proper look at it. "Evil queen definitely suits her."

"If I could believe Henry," I tell her as I take the book back. "This would be the reason."

"I'm starting to." Nora says.

"There's so much evidence to prove what he's saying."

"Then why don't you?"

Nora has always been the voice of reason in our friend group, when Elijah comes up with stupid ideas she always the one to stop him but right now she sounds insane.

"He's arguing that everyone we grew up around are fairytale characters," I say to her. "Don't you hear how crazy that sounds."

"You don't have to see something for it to be real, Bella." She tells me.

"You sound like Graham." I say to her as I put the book back on the bedside table.

"Graham is smart so that proves my point," Nora tells me. "Speaking of Graham, have you seen him and Emma?"

"Yeah, they're always together when she's not with Henry or Mary Margaret."

"Do you think they're dating?" Nora asks.

"Can we not talk about who my dad may or may not be dating please?" I say as I throw a pillow at her.

"Have you ever told him you know he's your dad?" Nora asks.

"I don't even know if he knows," I tell her, grabbing a new pillow. "Knowing my mother she probably hasn't told him."

"It's it pretty obvious though?"

"No one seems to understand anything in this town," I tell her. "It's like my mom controls everything around here."

"She's the mayor," Nora says. "Of course she controls everything around here."

"No, I mean everything goes her way," I tell her. "No one can ever remember her running for mayor."

"Are you sure you don't believe Henry?" Nora asks, raising an eyebrow.

"Positive."

"Well, one day when we moved out of this town." Nora says. "This will all be something to look back on and laugh at."
