I lay awake staring at my ceiling, mindlessly thinking. I couldn't sleep well last night or for the last couple of nights for that matter.

I don't know what it was about the mine incident and talking to Kathryn that's got me thinking about the curse so much.

I hate that everything has only started to make sense in my life. A part of me wants my life to go back to the way it was but I can't seem to shake the fact that if Henry was right there would be an explanation for the weird stuff that goes on around here.

When I hear my mom's door slam shut I decide I should get out of bed.

Last night I saw Graham's car parked outside. It's not unusual but for some reason I feel like I need to talk to him today.

"Graham," I say as I catch up to him.

"Good morning." He says sheepishly.

"Is everything alright?" I ask him as I make my way down the stairs. "You look like you've seen a ghost."

"It's nothing," He says as he begins to open the door. "I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" I question him. "What are you doing here so early?"

I should just tell him I know everything but I want to see if they'll actually tell me or just keep me in the dark.

"I'm okay, I promise," He tells me. "I had to speak to your mom about something."

"That's all?"

"I can't talk right now Bella, I really need to go right now," Graham says before pulling me into a hug. "I'll see you later, stay out of trouble."

"I'll try."

Once I've shut the door behind him, I make my way to the kitchen to get breakfast.

As I'm grabbing a box of cereal, my mom walks into the kitchen.

"Bella," My mom says. "You're up early."

"I want to get to school on time for once." I joke.

She doesn't say anything to that, she's always so serious and I hate it.

"I assume you saw Graham?" She says instead, changing the conversation.

"I assume you did too." I say.

"You already know?" She says, trying and failing to hide her shocked expression.

"About what?" I say, trying to play dumb.

I know neither my mother or Graham believe that I'm stupid but I also know that they both think their smart enough to hide things from me.

"How long have you known?" She asks, ignoring my attempts to try and get her to say it aloud.

"I've known for ages."

"So you finally told your mom you know about her and Graham," Elijah says as we walk through town.

"I tried to see if she would come out and say it at first," I tell him. "But you know how stubborn my mom is."

"Did she say anything?" Elijah asks, looking puzzled.

"Not much," I say. "It was weird."

"Are you going to say anything to Graham about it?" Nora questions.

"I don't know yet," I tell her. "I need more time to think."

"Maybe your mom will say something to him and he'll come and talk to you." Nolan says, trying to comfort me.

"What if he already knows that I do and he doesn't care," I say as I look down at the ground. "That could be why he's not said anything."

"That can't be true," Nolan says, taking my hand in his as he speaks. "Graham cares about you and Henry more than anything."

"Not enough to go against my mom's wishes though." I argue.

Everyone's so terrified of her, I mean I get why Henry thinks she would be the evil queen.

"He has always acted like a father figure to you," Nora adds. "Just without saying anything."
