"What else do you know about this?" I ask Emma.

Realising that I've gone into this knowing nothing.

"Absolutely nothing," Emma tells me as she drives down the road.

"Then why are you helping her?"

"If she wants to be a mother, she should be allowed to," Emma says as she stares out onto the road.

"You don't break deals with him," Henry says from the back of the car. "Once you've made a deal with Mr Gold that's it."

"I gladly will," Emma says before she parks the car outside granny's diner.

"Henry's right," I say as I get out of the car. "It's not a good idea."

She doesn't answer me and instead keeps walking toward the diner.

"What haven't you told me?" Emma says to Ruby.

"What?" Ruby says, looking up from the table she's cleaning.

"Why can't she just not give the baby to Gold?" Emma asks her.

"He's offering her money," Ruby says as she puts down the cloth she's holding.

"And you didn't say anything," I say before Emma gets a chance to speak.

"It wasn't important," Ruby says as she heads over to pick up people's orders.

"How is that not important?" I almost shout.

I notice Emma looking over at the bar, on it sits a wolf figuren.

"Where's your car?" Emma asks her as she looks at the figure.

"I'm only doing what I think is best for Ashley." Ruby says.

"Where Is she," Emma asks, now turning to face her.

"I'll tell you," Ruby says as she walks back over to the bar. "But not with those two here."

"I don't think it's a secret that I don't exactly get on with my mom," I say as I fold my arms.

"I'm not talking to you with the mayor's kids here," She says, turning to Emma and ignoring me.

"We're trying to help Ashley," Henry chimes in.

"Just go home for now okay?" Emma says to us.

I want to say something but Henry agrees to leave so I decide to follow him outside.

"What are you planning?" I ask as I walk beside him.

"If Ashley tries to cross the town line bad things will happen," He tells me as he opens the back door of Emma's car.

"She's not going to let us go with her," I tell him as he gets into the car.

"That's why we're hiding," He says, as if it's a normal thing to do.

"We can't just hide in someone's car," I tell him as I stand outside the car.

"She's my mom," He tells me as he sits at the foot of one of the seats. "Hurry up and get in, she'll be out in a minute."

Emma's been in the car for five minutes and surprisingly hasn't noticed us yet.

I hate this, I don't know why I let Henry drag me into doing stupid things.

When Henry decides we're far enough away not to turn back he pops up from where he's hiding.

"Henry what the hell!" She shouts when she sees him.

"I told him it was a bad idea," I say as I get up and sit down next to Henry.

"I can't believe you two," Emma says in disbelief.

"It's honestly your fault for not noticing sooner," I tell her as I put my seatbelt on.

"I have to take you home," Emma says as she stops the car. "I'm going to Boston, your mom is going to kill me."

"You don't have time," Henry tells her. "She'll get hurt before you're half way back to the house."

"I don't have time for this," She says, putting her head in her hands.

"Even if we forget about the curse, if you don't catch up to her Mr Gold will call the police." I tell Emma.

"You kids are going to be the death of me," Emma says as she begins driving again.

"That's Ruby's car," Henry says as he points at it.

Emma quickly gets out of the car to go look, it's on the side of the road and recked.

"Then where is Ashley?" I ask as I get out of the car.

Emma begins to shout on her, after a moment we hear her. She's on the floor when we get to her.

"The baby," She tries to say, although clearly in pain.

I'm sitting in the waiting room after what feels like forever when Emma comes back in.

"She's okay," She tells me as she hands me a cup of hot chocolate.

"And her baby?" I ask her before taking a drink.

"She's keeping it," She says with a small smile.

"What did you give to Mr Gold," I ask her in shock.

There's no way he just gave up the child for nothing.

"I owe him a favor," She says as she sits down next to me.

"Good luck," I say, turning to face her. "Chances are you've just made the worst deal of your life."
